Hello, I'm looking around for a hosting company. But I have members of my group that are U.S and some in U.k. So If I purchase a server do we get to choose more than one location?
Also with the TeamSpeak is that a one time charge or monthly charge?
For this we would suggest our New York location which works great for everyone in the US and works great for those in the UK we in fact have staff from the UK also!
Teamspeak is a monthly charge as they charge for us renting it out.
First time using a server hosting service, and their support was way more helpful than I would have thought. Most places would have definitely tried to charge me for mod support or some kind of package upgrade. I was missing an essential file for a mod pack, they knew what the problem was and they just added the missing file in for me and told me what the other problems I was having were.
I made this account just to drop off the good review and recommend them to anyone reading.

Wow! I had originally used this host a few years ago for about 7 months if I remember correctly. I then had to stop using them due to the low amount of money I had. A while later I used them for about a month with a SMP server. Both of these times the support had been amazing, the server performance had been great, even the panel was decently customized. In between then and a month ago, I had tried many hosts including: OVH, Shockbyte, Virtual Gladietors, Minespan, and Endermite. None of these hosts could compare to minecraftserver.net in terms of performance. When I decided to come back about a month ago, I asked for a discount and they gave me one! They then enabled the dedicated IP within 15 minutes! I forgot to check the ticket reply after that. About 10 minutes ago I checked the ticket and see they had asked me to write a review on this forum. I'm then like, HELL YAH I WILL! I guess I can talk about the performance a bit. I have 78 plugins last time I checked. I have 1 called antiaura which is super CPU heavy. Every other host I used couldn't handle it. Even my dedicated server at dacentec couldn't handle it. I now come here and what do I see? The server runs at 20 TPS at 1000MB out of 3000MB even with worldborder generating a 15k by -15k world at default speed with 3 players working on the server with world edit and reloading plugins with plugman.

I currently run a world on a private dedicated server.
Its a really old server now (Pentium 4 i think) with a poor connection so we're getting quite a bit of lag and disconnects. Thinking of moving to a hosted solution.
The world (save folder) is currently about 250mb in size. There's only ever 2 users on there, we don't open it up publicly. We have Forge and 18 mods installed.
1. Which of your packages would you recommend to host this smoothly?
2. We currently still run 1.6.4 as some of the mods were never updated. Can this be done on your hosting? Do we have full access to setup the MC server as needed?
3. We also use Minecraft Overviewer to create a map. Can we still do this if our world is hosted with you ??

Do You use linux on your current server and if so one of our VPS plans might be a better option for this for more control
This should work great on our normal minecraft plans with everything you need however, the overviewer for creating a map might not possibly work with the shared hosting. It has been sometime since I've used this however it was on a VPS before when I used that.
