As stated, I am attempting to host a minecraft server but port 25565 won't open. Asus AC3200 router, Win 10, Java 8 221 update (64 bit). Minecraft 1.14.3.
Server runs fine internally (3 pc's connected) but all external connections fail. I have forwarded ports, added exceptions to windows firewall, disabled windows firewall, disabled router firewall, disabled windows defender anti-virus (no other anti-virus running). Netstat on 25565 shows Listening but all online port checks show connection timed out/closed on the port. Could not connect to server in minecraft server list. Edit - Also disabled Asus NAT acceleration as that has been reported to not work with port forwarding. Also updated router to latest firmware.
Attached are screen shots of all the steps I've taken.
Thanks for the reply. For anyone else running into this problem apparently Comcast now blocks all ports? Was news to me. If you have the xfinity app you can go in there and request your ports be opened. Even if you have disabled the bridge and are using your own router you still have to forward them through the comcast modem so that your router can also forward them.
