I'm running a community server on a dedicated Minecraft server. A few days ago, I made the switch from Vanilla to Spigot. I believe that I did everything that was required to make the transition and server seemed to be running very well. Today, someone from the community told me that they were seeing weird edges in the game, as if the original seed was merged with a new seed. The world also seem to be quite small... it's set to max size but players have been able to run around it. After investigating a bit, we realized that the seed shown when using the /seed command in game is not the same as the seed in the server.properties file. Here's the current server.properties file content:
The current seed shown when using the /seed command is: 3787743649051167002
As anyone experienced this before? Is there a way to fix it without losing people's buildings and items they put in? Since this is a community server, I wouldn't want, if we can of course, to do A rollback or delete anything that my community has built over the past few days.
Any help would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance and let me know if you need any more information. I'll be at my computer for the next few hours trying to find a solution.
Hello!
