I recently tried to reset my Minecraft server to a new world and so i deleted world folder. Now the server's status is online but when i or anyone try to log onto it, it gets stuck on 'loading terrain' and the displays the message "Connection Lost: Disconnected". My internet is fine and i can easily get into other severs?
I believe it may be an issue with how you reset it.
So follow these steps
1. Stop the Server
2. delete the 3 World folders (Nether, overworld the end)
3. Set a new name for the world in Multicraft settings (If not using multicraft please tell me what alternative your using)
4. Start server.
If it still does not solve the issue follow these steps if using multicraft
1. stop server
2. login to FTP
3. Delete Every single file
4. start server.
If your using your own server software from your own pc. make another folder and start a brand new server fresh. and re-port forward it through a new port.

Really appreciate the response,
Im am not using multicraft but instead a sever hosted by Fluctis, sorry for not including that in original post.
I first used your method and deleted the world folder in the web console. However this only lead to the sever not being able to start.
Thus i reinstalled the entire sever and tried to connect again.
this didn't fix anything however and i still see the "Connection Lost:Disconnected"
i do get new message now in web console(see attached image)
