i want to run multiple minecraft instances on one ubuntu server.
obiously, they have to run on different ports.
My default one, running on 25565 is running fine, and i can connect to it easily.
ive tried installing others on ports 25566 and 25567, but i am unable to connect to them.
I portforwarded on my router, and set the ports to 25566 in the server.properties file, and the server is starting fine.
But i can not connect to them from my minecraft instance (in which i set mydomain.myTLD:25566 as server adress)
my netstat -l command returns this relevant data:
-tcp6 0 0 0.0.0.0:25565 [::]:* LISTEN
-tcp6 0 0 [::]:25567 [::]:* LISTEN
-tcp 0 0 *:25566 *:* LISTEN
====UPDATE====
online port check says
-port 25565: Open
-port 25566: filtered
-port 25567: filtered
how do i set these ports to open without using the port itself so minecraft can use the port?
===UPDATE===
i fixed it with
sudo ufw allow 25567/tcp
