I'm running Multiverse in my world to set up multiple gamemodes because Bungeecord is too expensive. When I do /spawn to go back to the hub, then go back through the portal into the world I was just in, I'm sent to the world spawn, not the last place I was in that world like in normal minecraft. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? If I didn't give enough details, I can give more if needed.
Adding EssentialsSpawn will make no difference. Multiverse will still send people to the world spawn when they change worlds. It's just the way it works. Portal destinations are only what is listed here.
You can turn off multiverse spawn and tp in the config, that wat i believe essentials will take over and everything will work. I could be wrong but doesnt hurt to try.

From what I know about Essentials it won't make a difference. Unfortunately what @Strahan202 said is correct.
I was playing around and was able to make a plugin to fix this. Kinda. When a user changes worlds, it logs where they were in the other world. Then when they change back to that world, it redirects the teleport to their prior coordinates. Worked great - until I did /spawn and it redirected me to where I was on the spawn world, not spawn lol. I made a /spawn handler so /spawn works and I thought I was in the clear then I remembered homes & warps. That seems a bit more problematic. I posted on a dev forum to see if I can listen for a Multiverse portal event, but I don't even know if it fires an event for that. If I can catch just portal use, that'll fix the issue. If not, this plugin would only be beneficial if you do not use homes or warps heh.
Thanks! Please pm me the server files! Or you could send me a link that downloads the plugin the second you click on it instead of sending you to another website where you have to download it again! Thank you!
Well.. I could give it to you as-is, but the problem is it will mess up use of /home and /warp if the destination is on a different world than the player. Any world moving command save spawn would be compromised by this plugin. I've engaged a guy on bukkitdev to help me. Thanks to his help, I learned (kinda) how to hook Multiverse so I can just capture portal use. Alas, I can capture /mvtp fine but the MVPortalEvent isn't working for me. Once the guy gets back to me, hopefully he'll help me figure out where I went wrong and I can make a proper plugin for you.
I kinda hate to release it as it is, unless you are fine with those limitations.
Dunno if this is still something you are looking for, but I figured out how to capture just MV portal use and /mvtp now so I'm satisfied with it. If you want it, you can get it at https://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/lastlocation/
Let me know if you have any issues if you do end up using it.

Dunno if multiverse can do this, maybe try installing essentials and essentials spawn, i think that will fix your issues.
Okay, i might try essentials spawn and see what it does.
You have to have both essentials and essentials spawn. Essentials spawn is an addon for essentials
I know, but I already have Essentials.

I don't have multiverse spawn though. I'll try to make portals to people's beds and see if that works.

I hope they fix it soon, because I can't afford a bungeecord server, and Multiverse is the closest I can get. Let's hope for it in Multiverse 3!
Best of luck!
Thanks!
