I hope that doesn't seem like a bait-y title.. I don't really know what else to call this.
It does accept my Local IP address and my Hamachi IP, but I learned of a third IP address assigned to your computer recently called a Public IP. I figure a Public IP Address would be the best for hosting a server, so I tried that one but then it just instantly shuts down leaving this message:
I think the Public IP thing is legit because two sites (including http://www.portchecktool.com/) and my router have also verified that this is my IP, but it crashes the server.
If you need more information to tell me what's happening here, here's the .log as well:

You aren't supposed to put anything in the server-ip field of server.properties unless you have a multihomed server and it's not binding to the right interface. Leave it blank.
Actually, in this particular case it is IP related (he put an IP not available to his system in server-ip). The next line in his log is what is more relevant... "cannot assign requested address". If something else were using the port, it would've said "address already in use".
