I run a small whitelisted server using minecraft 1.8, and we had someone grief one of our places. I need a way to find out who it is. Is there any logging application that will work for a 1.8 server that can show when someone placed down a block and show who did and what kind of block.
I rather not go so far as to lock chunks because that is going a bit to far for this amount of people in a server.
I absolutely LOVE the plugin CoreProtect - its a Bukkit/Spigot plugin that logs block changes and lets you undo them with one command. It's easy to install too. Just google it and get the latest version

I second the use of CoreProtect. Been using it ever since LogBlock stopped being updated. That was a while ago though, so I don't know if logblock has been updated since, but wouldn't switch back anyway.
I use CoreProtect. It's a great plugin except for once I rollbacked too much that it corrupted my world. Luckily I was just starting and didn't even have a spawn yet

Try LockBlock, it should be what you're after. You can check to see who placed what where and roll back changes for users or areas if you need to. :-)
