A few weeks ago, I set up a small modded server (TPPI, to be exact) for me and 4 of my friends. Today, one of my friends couldn't connect, with the following error being displayed in the console;

After trying various fixes, another one of my friends started to get the error - however, this seems to have resolved itself.

I tried lowering the view distance in the server.properties file to try to help his connection out (his connection is not great). He can connect, but only for a few seconds before getting disconnected.
The first player is still unable to connect for more than a few seconds after;
Reinstalling the modpack in question
Making sure his Java is both updated and 64-bit
Restarting the server
Lowering the view distance in the server.properties file
We're really trying to get this problem here fixed, and I'll be happy to provide any more necessary information.

As the person who cannot connect, I'd be willing to provide any info that Verodoxys cannot.
