I've changed the config file to tile-type (I think that's what it's called) BIOMESOP, so that should be correct, but otherwise it i s acting as if it can't find files, and I'm not sure what's wrong. My friends are a little disappointed we can't play together with it, so I'm hoping to figure out a solution.
Lets make it simple, BoP caused server to crash, removing it will stop crashing it.
Why did it crash server is discusion for developers of the mod. Ask if you are using version that matches requirement of Forge, and if your settings for world generator is correct.

Oh I very much know it's BoP causing the crash, hence the title. I"m trying to find out why it's crashing. I know that it is a fairly-used mod so was hoping someone here knew enough to understand my problem, since the likelihood I'll get the developer's attention is almost nil.
I'll hop on their Mod thread and see, and hopefully get something that works. I know it works with my version of forge because it works single player, and it's the same version of forge for my server. Though something is obviously amiss. I hope they'll respond though, since I know the mod's thread is over 500 pages long.
I can get the crash log txt it generated if that's what you meant.

Something to do with their new honey liquid, let me test it out.
EDIT: Seems that whatever version above build #1258 craches, you should downgrade to it, next build is where they add the honey liquid.
And to be honest 1.8 is broken as hell, you should go back to 1.7.10 where its very stable.
Also it probably would be good if you upgraded to java 8 64bit, its smarter than 7
I found out the problem actually! The forced forge on the host I was using was 1.8, and you're right, it's a mess. I was able to get the newer forge and just name it after the old one, and got it to work fine. Unfortunately I'm stuck with the java though, since I'm using a host. Thank you though! My server is finally working.
I am able to run Biomes o' Plenty perfectly fine on my Client-Side version, the mod version for forge, and so are my friends. I wanted to set up a server for us to play in though, and when I try to download BoP to it, i get this console error:

I found out the problem actually! The forced forge on the host I was using was 1.8, and you're right, it's a mess. I was able to get the newer forge and just name it after the old one, and got it to work fine. Unfortunately I'm stuck with the java though, since I'm using a host. Thank you though! My server is finally working.
