I've been running my Minecraft Server for about a year. It's been port-forwarded and stable ever since. Recently, I decided to update my OS to W10 so I thought formatting my disk would be a good idea too. I backed up both my .minecraft and my whole server. When I launched my game with the new OS, it all launched perfectly including all of my files. Then I tried to launch my server and it did the same as before. But as soon as I went to look for my server in the lists, It said it 'Can't connect to server'. The external IP is correct, the IPV4 is correct, the port '25565' is correct, Java 7 is going through the Firewall. Like what. Later went on to http://www.whatsmyip.org/port-scanner/ and checked '25565', Boom. 25565 is timed out. Can someone guide me to why this is?
I have no idea what to do at this point. Help would be amazing. Please and thanks.
