Hello again , and i bring to u another issue ... my server crash when the players use alot of commands i donk know when i use commands my server say :
WARN Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded?
And this message apearce evry 2 min o less ....
So i red about the TPS but i cant undersatnd that
How i can fix it
My server have 3GB Ram hosted ...
- 99% Uptime
- Unmetered Disk Space
- Unmetered Bandwith
- SSD Drives
- Xeon Quad-Core CPU
- 3 Dedicated RAM (DDR3, ECC)
TPS is basically how smoothly your server is running. If it's dipping below 19, it usually means that something is causing it (unless you are short on RAM). 3GB is plenty to host a small server up to about 20 people with up to 10-15 plugins. So unless you have more than that... You need to post your logs.
The message itself is just a warning when you see it it doesn't necessarily mean your server will crash. Try adding a cool down on commands. Make sure your using safe plugins and not too many plugins. Try these things and get back to me.

Hey there!, . It runs good for a while, and then suddenly freezes. Mobs don't move, commands don't work, items don't drop, but players can still speak. The server then proceeds to close down and restart in 1 min. This problem is becoming more and more frequent. Also, according to Minetreds, my server can drop down to a terrible 16/20TPS. I usually get about 5-15players on my server, and currently run 4GB RAM. Thanks for reading
So the commands are not the problem .
My server have a few plugins Multiverse . are the most heavy .
But before i have more plugins than now and less RAM and never crash !
i thin mybe is this :
[pool-3-thread-18/INFO]: [Metrics] Connection timed out
[Server thread/INFO]: [Metrics] Connection timed out
[Server] INFO Connection timed out <---------- I see the server crash and this show the console !
It is possible that you have a poorly optimised/coded plugin that's memory hogging. Could you post your installed plugins here?
Make sure all the plugins are up to date.
It could also be a matter of a corrupted chunk/entity somewhere in the map, which the server can't process.
This are my plugin always , when a have 2 Gb this never happend and i have the same number of plugins ...
Hello,
So that is a lot of plugins but 4GB should be able to run it. Please try to delete a few. Make sure you don't have too many worlds and let me ask you how old is the world folder your using now?
Two things to keep in mind, Chunk Generation and Network Traffic.
If a mod involves either of these it will take more ticks from your limited pool.
(It sounds like the mods you removed may have been using networking?)
A third thing to watch is your View-Distance, keep it over 12 but under 17, even in 1.8, if you have mods loading.
One of the first things I do is set view-distance=12 and then set a world-size=4096 blocks, because it is divisible by 16 and 256 evenly.
This is for mapping, as it comes out cleanly even.
THEN I use a script to 'teleport walk' the entire map. This usually takes most of a real world day, between Overworld and Nether. With my CUSTOMIZE world type settings that runs about 4GB drive space for all the maps. (for a 'normal depth' world it will be about 2.5GB)
Then, once the world is generated, I put the view-distance=17 and run the client at 16.
Chunk Generation actually takes a lot of ticks, Especially when there are multiple players going in different directions. That is one of the best reasons to pre-gen a map, IMHO.

So this is my bukkit.yml :

With alot of players/intensive processing, 3GB is not exactly alot.
