So, I am trying to make a Minecraft server for me and my friends to play on without the use of any backup application (ex. Hamachi), but my Ports are not open even after port forwarding correctly, I checked up on multiple tutorials on why this isn't working but had no luck finding a solution, I had CLEAR (ISP) that allowed the ports to be open but ever since I switched to AT&T's Uverse, I could not open these ports even w/ a Static IP.
I used everything I could to make sure this would work, I setup a Static IP on my Computer, make sure the Server.properties file was correct (Server Port=25565, IP Address=*Blank*, etc) but for some reason nothing is working, I put the ports under 25565 in my Routers Port Forwarding section and labeled it under TCP/UDP. Then, I ran my server and went to porttest.net and it said 'Port 25565 is CLOSED)
So now, I turn to Portforward.com to see if anything will work, it tells me to do the things I already done, portforward port 25565 + static ip and I downloaded its application (PFconfig) and it says the ports are CLOSED or unreachable, I am so aggrivated with this and whenever I run the server and friends try to join through the External IP (IPchicken.com) they cant find host so I am really upset with my internet so someone PLEASE HELP ME!
Thanks to anyone who read this and/or who is willing to help, I use:
