A custom apocolypse server would be cool, I have seen most of the other kinds of servers (Except GTA V.) and it just sounds really cool. Also you shouldn't bump your own thread.

Cool! Would you like it as a huge map, where there are many many houses and bunkers you can buy? You could also hire builders (Mods/Admins) to build you a custom house / bunker when you have the money? You could get money from killing or some other way? You start off with money, maybe guns too? Suggestions?

That kind of server could benefit greatly from:
-Ruined structures. Half made buildings, toppled over, vines over them.
-Towny/similar. Being able to create outposts and civilizations would be great.
-Focus on two concepts for player interaction: Kill them, or negotiate peace and share resources.
-Plugin that increases mobs´ numbers and their difficulty. That makes it more dangerous, and so you would have to have a better shelter. Maybe mobs could dismantle poorly constructed buildings/anything with a certain blast resistance?

I think there should be a permanent war server. with 2 main factions and 3 subsidiaries to each main faction
Factions such as:
Pirates vs. Navy
Aliens vs. Humans
Magic vs. Science
North vs. South (Plain 'ol War)
Rogues vs. Army
Miners vs. Kings
Commoners vs. Nobles
Things like that were when you first join the server you cannot read the stuff that other players are saying (To not sway you from side to side) i don't know if that's possible. You go through a monologue of how the war started and what each faction is like. Then you come to 2 signs. One with each factions name on it then you get to choose it. Others, where numbers is important, you would be auto placed into a side. Ex: Commoners vs. Nobles you would have many more commoners than nobles (2:1 ratio) the commoners would have a much larger area than nobles and have more food because they are farmers. the nobles would be more well equipped with armor, weapons, and castles.
There would be 2 main factions and 3 sub-factions allied to the main one. For example with commoners vs nobles, Commoners would have Miners, Farmers, Loggers, and the mysterious Shadow Group that dwells in evil magic. The nobles would have the Guards, Knights, Royalty, and the Cannoneers.
all 4 on each side would be in permanent war with all 4 on the other side but not in permanent alliance with each other. Say the miners make the farmers mad and the commoners split into 2 groups Miners and the shadow group, and the farmers and loggers. Now the commoners are easier to defeat with their force split in 2.
Leaders of the factions would be people you know and trust. You will need 8 they will not be able to undo the perma-war but are able to manage relations with the 4 allied groups. They will be able to talk to each other in a private council room separate from the opposing side. If you want you can have it as a massive CTF where one side would need to claim land to reach the opposing sides council room and burn all 4 symbols of the enemies. For example the commoners would have to advance through noble territory pillaging their castles for the weapons they desperately need, eventually making their way to the Noble's Council room. where they see 4 symbols made of wool for easy burns :D. The Guards symbol will be an iron sword. The Knights symbol will be a flag. the Royalty's symbol will be a crown. the Cannoneers symbol will be TNT.
On the other hand if the Nobles gain the upper hand and raid the countryside taking food and tools they need, making their way to the Commoners Council room, they will see 4 symbols of the Commoner groups. The loggers will have an axe, the miners a pickaxe, the farmers a hoe, and the shadow group a potion. the nobles will have to set these symbols alight with flint and steel to destroy the commoners and win.
all of the symbols will be 1 pixel:1 block scale so they don't burn extremely fast and win quickly. each council room will be extremely hard to get to.
when the war is won by whichever side the leader of the victorious faction will publicly execute the leader of the opposing exit with a trapdoor-cactus hangman's post. Then the leader of the victorious faction will get to choose the new factions after taking a vote using plugins from his people. ONLY if the players from either side find and take a nether star named "Switch" around the map will be able to choose to change or stay on the original sides. Then a new war will be arranged on the war world. There will be 2 worlds one for war other for any type of game maybe vanilla survival, as it takes so long to reset the map and the faction names and leaders.
That's my idea so far I've thought about it for a while and really want to see it implemented on some sort of server.

I would want a town real life role play. I haven't found any good ones yet.I especially liked the Idea I've seen of a school themed server with classes such as parkour, redstone, interior design etc. I've always wanted to play on one, but there are none in existence.

a war server its like survival but you put in these 2 teams and you cant hurt your teammates and you survive and fight. you make your own tools raid the other team and greif them. you can't to that to your teammates
