http://pastebin.com/3TufJmex is my essential config. I've ran it through a YAML parser, there's nothing wrong. When I do /kit ingame, it says "There are no valid kits."

Could anybody help?

You do not have an ingame kit set. You would type

/kit kitname

Okay, but when I do this, it just says that the kit does not exist.

kitname is the name of the actual kit as defined in the Essentials config. So that would be:

• mvp
• vip
• op
• monster
• beast
• alien
• starter

Yes, these kits do not work ingame.
