So for a while, I ran a basic no mod server. I had a few friends who would play on it. After a while, I got Bukkit and some plugins. It still worked.
One day it just stopped working. No patches, no changes (seriously nothing different) but it just stopped working.
Granted, anyone hooked to my router can play, but no one can connect through my external IP anymore.
I thought it might've been Bukkit so I did a fresh install, checked my static IP & port forwarding. Obviously it doesn't change itself but it was still right regardless. Still the same problem.
I just can't figure why this would happen. Seriously, nothing changed. I've since then taken off the static IP & port forwarding, then redone it to see if it would help - no change. Anyone have any ideas of what's going on?
A picture of my cmd when I startup my Bukkit server..
It says it cannot find the path, but I do have a java path in my PATH line. Java is up-to-date (verified using the "verify java version" link from google). I just don't get why this is happening.
What's going on? D:
Note: I still have the static IP & port forwarding setup (using port 25565).
EDIT: If you want to know, here is what's in my RUN.bat
@ECHO OFF
SET BINDIR=%~dp0
CD /D "%BINDIR%"
"%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar craftbukkit-1.2.5-R1.0.jar
Can you post the contents if your .bat file? Also, check your firewall
What exactly do you want to know about my firewall? It's just a basic Windows 7 firewall, nothing special. I haven't really touched it much since having this computer.
I mean check your firewall to make sure it isn't blocking port 25565
When outside connections "suddenly" don't work anymore, it's generally only a few possibilities: Your internal IP changed. Your external IP might have changed as well. Or your firewall may be preventing access on port 25565.

and yes, I'm on a 64-bit OS/machine.

Also, my port forwarding if it helps (I cut out the IP stuff though)..
Could I get some help on how to check what my firewall is blocking? I only know how to see what it's letting through.
EDIT: Think I found it. Sorted it to show all that's blocked..
EDIT: Seems obvious I need to let some/all of them through the firewall, but which ones should I?
I personally let them all thru, but that is just me. You can start selecting individual ones and see which ones make it work.
