Ok...I was in my server, Jerraud came in and i went into /hide mode.. He went around and spammed lava...I had my physics turned off thankfully, Then i warned him and he stopped. He went on and started building a house, and then asked "Can i build opcrete?" i said "No, you aren't a builder", He said "oh ok" 10 seconds later he went ahead and built the opcrete and outlined his house in it.. I said "Cheat engine?" he said."lol yea" then i banned him.... Howd he get around the server? Both the normal servers and JTE have a code to check if its an illegal block type.. yet he got around it..
He came back as LGSteve and destroyed my map while i was programming... though i IP banned him the first time... Hes a dangerous one.. Backups ftw
It's not ideal, but if you take the server offline for a bit, or change port and go private if you need to test things. This will stop him coming back in as he will get bored.
When using Cheat Engine, it should say "Cheat detected: Tile type" (I'll delete the article on MineCraft Wiki about changing tiles, it's being abused)
Probably JTE doesn't have that much safe security.
Was it Infinite Lava or Still Lava he spammed?
JTE's server and pretty much every other server out there is stripped of the 'Tile type' detect, due to some other tiles being to avail like lavavator.

Im actually not sure because i had my physics turned off, so it all looked like still lava.. oh and an odd thing he did... it seems he could make blocks in mid air... he made arches of lava somehow

There are 10 kinds of people who understand binary.
Those who do.
And those that don't.

No, because the Tile type detects if a user places down an illegal tile. Most custom servers place special blocks by replacing a user's stone blocks with lava/water/etc. while active (like /solid, but with special blocks instead of admincrete). Hacked clients, on the other hand, place those tiles directly with no server interaction, so it should be pretty easy to tell serverside if a client puts down an illegal tile.
This is weird, even though he is able to place admin blocks it should only stay client side and not come through to the server, like the first hacks that came out, you were able to make blocks and delete blocks in front of you even when in mid air, but these block changes would not be communicated to the server. The reason for your experience could be because of wrong code or deletion of the security code. You should not even be able to see his admin blocks, because, normally, when a user wants to build adminium, they have to enable /solid and this makes stone turn into adminium, it does not let you build it like your placing a cobblestone, you have to build it and the server changes the stone into adminium. I am unsure, maybe you had him in your builders list?
Hm,well i have checked out most of the sites leecher **** hackers go to normaly, but i cannot find a single thread talking about wrappers/hacks for anything other than survival (released on CEF and then on other sites due to leechers), so i dont think this has been released openly, but thats not to say it hasnt been released .
Lets just hope this doesnt go public. :biggrin.gif:
Missinformation. Simple. people on the forums post " HAO I GEET MAH SERVARAH WORKING, I PEWT VERIFY NAMES TRUE AND NAO KARNT KONNECTLEZORS" then somone post "Turn verify names false if you cant connect" The reason for them not being able to connect is them following guides given out by people, telling them to go to the link of their IP+port, when they should be using the external url to connect to it.

:ohmy.gif: I know how. . . There was this hack made by crappycomix or whatever it was before the mass update (iron tnt ect . . .) where you could place blocks in mid air maybe he could've modified it somehow.

EDIT: again as Aderus, Veleik

Yes, Yes it does
EDIT: and now hes gone and found himself a way to make his body stay in place while he runs and griefs
However, these are interesting hacks he has.
