I love Jolicraft and it's 16x style actually works well with most Mods without much editing. Most mods only need a couple of blocks (ores mostly), items (tools mostly), and GUIs updated so it makes support that much easier as well!
If you have any of your own textures to include post 'em below and I'll see about including them in the packs.
Notes:
The default Jolicraft 1.8 download has some fixes needed to work properly with Minecraft 1.8. I've included a fix pack below. Just be sure to order the Fix pack above the default Jolicraft pack. Better yet, always put the Vanilla pack at the bottom of the list and all mod/add-ons/etc above it.
I prefer Sunny Jolicraft's stone over the standard Jolicraft stone. As such I've incorporated the Sunny Jolicraft stone and ores into my Resource packs so that the ores match the stone without the need of including all of Sunny Jolicraft. Just make sure that you order your Vanilla Jolicraft Pack and Addons below these packs in the Resource Pack list in Minecraft.
I went through and incorporated some fixes previously posted in the Jolicraft main thread and added my own to make Jolicraft 100% compatible with Vanilla Minecraft 1.8.
Changelog
v0.3
Updated Wither and Absorption Health Pips
Updated Inventory Screen to include icon for Absorption Status effect
v0.2
Updated Enchanting Table Model to fix Particle effect when breaking the block
v0.1
Updated Enchanting Table Model and Included Fixed GUI
Updated Hopper Model (Texture mapping issues)
Included Fixed Steve Player Texture
Updated Font to work again
Included Old Charcoal texture still found on archived version of the Customizer site
Included my variant of "Dark Oak" sapling (didn't like the "Fat" sapling in the default package)
Included Sunny Jolicraft variant of Stone and Ores (easy to remove from package if you don't want them. I included this as this fix package is meant to also be used with my Mod Support packages and I need a standard set of stone and ores to design against when doing mod support for ores).
This looks really good. I haven't used jolicraft in a while but this just might get me back into using it. Nicely done.
Thanks, glad you like it!
I am working on an update for TC5 for the saplings and plants. The more I see the stock ones in game the more they standout from everything else. The problem is coming up with ideas for magical tree seeds...
Oh, and I may still do some modifications to the Infernal Furnace.
Other then that I'm moving on to do a patch for Hopperducts and Redstone Paste. Still trying to figure out how to deal with NEI (the overlays in that are problematic). I've also got a Botania patch started and plan to migrate my old EE2 patch over to ProjectE.
Are you taking any requests for other mods to add Jolicraft support for or are you just doing mods that you want to do? Either way is fine cause from what I've seen here, any mod you add support for will be great.

Happiness is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth.
At the moment I'm doing 1.8 mods that I'm using in my own world and/or converting old/in-progress packs over. I started on a Regrowth pack a while back that has a bit of Botania in it for instance that I want to revisit (love that mod). I also have an old Equivalent Exchange pack I did that should make ProjectE relatively quick to do.
After the ones I mentioned above I'll probably be working on Progressive Automation as that's how I'm automating my 1.8 worlds at the moment.

This is some really lovely work! Jolicraft is one of my very first beloved resource packs. I'll keep watch on this thread as you continue adding your mod support. Great job!
I've completed support for Progressive Automation (PA) and Flux Ducts (Energy Pipes for PA) and updated the OP with links, etc.
I had big plans for the Machine blocks in PA, but I had to push them aside and go with simpler block designs. Just too time consuming doing individual pixel art for each machine (such as Drills, Saw Blades, Butcher mechanisms, etc) at the moment.
I'm going to do Iron Chests next and then I'll get back to ProjectE and Botania support.
I removed the tool fade on the Progressive Automation machine blocks. After running the previous version a bit I didn't like the "painted" on look. Since it's a minor update and only 2 people have downloaded the Progressive Automation patch I just updated the current download rather then doing a full new version release.
Another words just redownload v0.1 of the Progressive Automation resource pack if you want the slight update.
I'm also nearly done with Iron Chest support. I have the chest models and GUI completed and am currently working on the item icons (chest upgrades). They'll be fairly easy if rather dull.
I've finished Iron Chest support and updated the OP with links, etc. I'm really happy with how this pack turned out.
I'm working on JEI support next. With the update of Thaumcraft 5 to 1.8.9 I had to abandon NEI and found JEI to actually be a solid replacement that will be easier to modify texture wise as well. My only complaint with JEI really is some odd overlays with buttons and progress meters.
I still plan to convert my old Equivalent Exchange pack over to ProjectE, but I may go back and revisit Botania first as I love Garden of Glass and really should finish that pack up.
Added Just Enough Items, JEI Addons, and Just Enough Resources support and updated the OP with links, etc. There are some blending problems, but there's nothing that can be done about that due to the way the graphical elements are extracted from Vanilla GUIs. I didn't find it too distracting though.
Also, I did a major reformat of the top post. Hopefully it's easier to find stuff this way.
Added support for AppleCore (displays food saturation levels) and updated the Fix patch to include some missing or default GUI elements that I overlooked.
I'm actually going back to my TC5 patch next as I've noticed some of the blocks/entities standout against Jolicraft blocks too much. Specifically Infusion pedestals.
Wow, I don't come here for a few weeks and so many more mods have been added. Glad to see this growing and hope more get included. How's the progress on that TC5 update?

Hey, hope you haven't given up on this project. I personally thought all your textures were really well done and fit right in with Jolicraft and I'd like to see more.

Wow, I used this pack in what, 1.2.5? Still going strong, and mod support too! Good job.

I've updated Thaumcraft 5 support to v0.2. See the original post for more details.
I'm satisfied with TC5 support now and am going to be moving on to Hopper Ducts and Redstone Paste next.
Thanks everyone who's expressed support!

Just a little peak on Progressive Automation Jolicraft style.
I've finished all the GUIs and all the Items. I just have to do the blocks (machines) now.

Jolicraft Mod Support for 1.8 Mods
I've updated Thaumcraft support to 5.1.3. All that was needed was GUI updates.
I moved the Vanilla overrides (stone, ores, etc) and various fixes for Jolicraft into it's own package called Jolicraft Fixes for 1.8.
Lastly, I updated the model files for Hopper Ducts to correct some texture mapping issues.
