I have recently found some interesting stuff in my resource pack.
One being a shaders folder:
Inside there are 2 other folders with files that cannot be opened with what I have. So if any coder out there knows of any program to open it and edit, I would highly suggest taking a look at it.
If coders are able to change the properties of the files, this could lead to a whole other genre of resource packs. It would be shaders--with your own textures, not even having the mod installed.
We've known about these for a while. Click the "Super Secret Settings" button to cycle between the various shaders that the game has. A few of them are also used during Spectator Mode when the player is inhabiting a mob.
They can be edited as well. There are a few vanilla shader packs going around, including a Vanilla Bloom shader that looks quite nice. There was a tutorial a while back on how to edit them, but I didn't bother to bookmark it because it's very technical and I'm not a technical person.
Sufficed to say it's really more of a visual filter than a genuine shader. No more complicated than a camcorder's built-in effects; and certainly nothing in the magnitude of SEUS.

Both of those were edited for visibility, I also changed the invert shader to only invert colors, and made it where it doesn't look like it has a murky film over everything.
I also edit more of the shaders for visibility, such as the "pencil" shader to use pixel brightness differently so it doesn't make everything so dark.
"I'm an outsider by choice, but not truly.
It’s the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out.
I’d rather be in, in a good system. That’s where my discontent comes from:
being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin’ straight ahead.
Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

I am an artist. All the art you see on my profile is by me, if it's not I will say so and whom its owner is.

Ah, okay.
