So I decided to whip up a 32x texture pack just for the heck of it. I textured the most
common surface blocks and took it for a test drive. The fancy graphics grass overlay
was screwed up. The part that was supposed to be transparent was solid green.
I'm using windows paint to edit the images and Resource Pack Workbench to throw
them together. This is the first time I've tried a go at texture packs for anything, so
help would be greatly appreciated.
Well, the problem lies within MSPaint. It doesn't support transparency, so the empty space is actually coloured white, then the area becomes green because of the overlay that minecraft gives it. Download a free editing program such as Paint.NET or Gimp, which support transparency in images.

Any suggestions?
Thanks, I'll try that.
