I'd really like it if someone was to update this texture pack. I think its abandoned but I think updating so it can be used in 1.3.1 is do able. http://www.minecraft...itional-beauty/
The author is still active, having been on the forum earlier today. Have you tried contacting him to find out if he plans to continue it? If not, do you have his permission to commission an update to his work?
These things are very important if you're going to ask for something like this.
