While there are mods out there that add different player types- or rather, give you new weaknesses and advantages based on your decision, it would be interesting if such a mod also added new skins or skin variants based on your decision. I made some new skin types themed after different dimensions/professions. (For the actual ten skin files, check out this thread: https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding-java-edition/skins/3035030-dimensional-themed-skins)
Danny/Overworld Theme ~ Green clothing & a suntanned complexion, this character has a slightly higher hunger and health bar, and is otherwise a standard, balanced character.
Kyoto/Netherworld Theme ~ Character has standard health and tires more quickly, deals noticeably more and combat damage with less attack recharge. Has better fire resistance and soul sand walking speed. Piglins don't attack this character. Potential critical strike ability?
Shunji/Aquatic Theme ~ Character can swim faster and has much better respiration, but lower overall health. Drowned do not attack this character. Potential swimming-speed boost ability?
Clark/Subterranean Theme ~ Character mines blocks quicker and has a better chance of getting more ore from ore blocks such as coal, lapiz, and gemstones. Character takes longer to tire, and has slower attack recharge.
Chris/End Theme ~ Character doesn't take damage from teleporting, and can look at endermen without angering them. Character has lower health and stamina, but can deal high damage with higher class weapons, and unlocks higher tier enchantments much quicker.. Gets significantly better effects from positive potions and enchantments, and has lower times for bad status effects.
