So I am looking for someone who would be willing to do some World generation coding in minecraft.
I am willing to pay some money through PayPal for your time.
This is just an example and my dimension is not this.... this better describes the way it will work without me explaining every little thing.
Example of world gen 2 different layers in the world with different biomes on each, like say a snow biome sets on an entire plate of floating world, basically like your in a cave for the normal over world layer, 50 blocks high worth of empty space, and then another layer up there so you don't see any sky, and on that layer is another different biome.
Top biome
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bottom biome
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
My dimension is mainly 2 layer 2 biome world over everything, however there will be other small or tiny biomes, and these small/tiny biomes will be later and consist of other things.
I'm really trying to just get my world made, after its made I don't think ill have a hard time getting it updated,
I don't want to learn to code, I have actually started learning but I don't enjoy it, don't want to do it. that's why I'm asking and willing to pay.
If you or someone you know might be willing and can code world gen, let them know I'm willing to pay to get my world done.
If possible please show previous work
Please bare in mind that sometimes I wont respond due to long days at work, it will just be a day later
Just saying, you can't have two biomes on top of each other. Biomes are there per-column, and if you wanted to have two biomes on top of each other, you would have to rewrite the whole biomes system. (and client-side modding, but if you're doing that already, there's no problems there) The problem is, many mods already add more biomes, and Mystcraft does special things with them. So, rewriting the biomes system means that you'll have to compensate for modders that want to add new biomes, and predict all the complications that may arise from changing a basic mechanic of Minecraft.
Well I know you cant have 2 biomes like that, however its just one biome with the land generating a layer in the sky, kind of like floating islands, however these will be more or less just one huge never ending thin layer of floating island.
As for the top layer at all, I mean there are way to get around it, you could just make a never ending fortress could you not?, and that fortress is just normal looking ground?
Or a fortress that generations per chuck, and the fortress is 16x16 that looks like normal ground. 1 for 1 per chunk generation.
top layer mainly will be sand anyhow.
pigjackey, looks as if he does smaller mods, not terrain generation.
I am not going around asking people because I want someone who can specifically do world generation, not try to do it.
(I noticed you because you looked at my page xP and that you were looking for modders. But I'm not a modder, as of now.)

Yes, that's certainly viable. You could just make a new worldgen system and that would do it. It would just take some modding... which you're looking for. So sorry for my misunderstanding. But you should still clarify in the original post, otherwise someone else might come to you with what I had xP
Yeah I'm doing it now, I'm going to post your question and my response.

For the world generation, no blocks as of yet.
