The background music is playing all the time. A new song starts before the current one ends, usually. Am I the only one? Is there some new Music Frequency slider I'm not aware of?
There are a few threads that explain this, or other odd bugs, being encountered before. These other occurances include no sound at all, oddly placed sounds, and overlapping songs.
Dinnerbone's twitter says, "When we rewrite the sound engine, many obscure bugs are able to come about." This is an acknowledged bug of Dinnerbone rewriting the sound engine.
