That's what I was going to say. For some people, finding what they're interested in is more difficult than other people who already have their whole lives planned out.

If all of us give a little bit of something to a good cause, we can help to make that cause happen.
I heard a good one earlier. So, this guy wanted a college scholarship, so he applied to the ones that are sponsored by racial advancement groups like the NAACP, et al. Bad part is, he's totally white. Becuase race is a protected status you cannot just ask for, they never figured it out. So, after meeting their (lower) standards and being approved, he finally went to meet them in person. When they discovered he wasn't black, he made sure to get thier implied refusal on tape. A few weeks later, he's holding a racial discrimination charge over their heads, and they give him $70,000 to walk away; in return for thier backwards bigotry.
Im not a racist in any way, and thats why its a funny story. The only racists left are those who practice it opposite the historical fashion.
The easiest way to make money in America right now is Social Security Disability abuse. Any lawyer who works in that field is a robbing hack, and most people on it are freeloaders. True Story.

Pick whatever job you want to do, but then actually budget your money and save it. My girlfriend and I are able to save thousands of dollars every year making average $9/hr after taxes, and we are just careful with how we spend our money.
Become a founder. Start your own business - it's hard but at the same time amazing adventure and it might work. If not then you can start another or just get a job, wait and start again.
I worked for large corp for 2 years and everything there was moving so slow I decided to start my own company with like $1k. With my wife we've build 2 companies, sold them with quite a big profit and now we are working on 3rd ;-)
I think it depends on how much money one wants. If we're happy about what we do for a living, the amount of money we might make might seem enough. It also depends on lifestyle, needs, obligations, and responsibilities. For instance, a single person may most likely require less money than one with a pet or a single parent.
If making enough money (such that your bank balance steadily increases every month despite expenses) is your goal, then you have to find a lucrative job and make some lifestyle compromises. At the same time, you may have to be willing to do something you may not really like.
On topic: Like suggested above, mining some form of cryptocurrency would be an easy way, but you'll have to consider:
A: If your computer is powerful enough to do so (cooling included)
B: If you have the time to do so
C: How you're going to turn it into actual dollars
You should start with Dogecoins, just to get a grasp at how it works. If that doesn't work out for you, maybe you can give a go with offering your skills and getting some money in return (ex: making a game that downloads through AdFly links and allowing people to volontarily donate to you if they like it that much).
If only I'd got in on that in 2014...
I don't know much about it but if you have some money to spare investing is always a good bet, robo-advisors are making that real simple these days.
You could lose all your money.

I might consider that, but instead of adf.ly, I would use coinurl.
I don't exactly see how that would be possible...

Bartering isn't the only alternative to currency.
I usually have a neutral/undecided standpoint on things. And yes, I am part Swiss.
