Not particurally, no. I'm not doing that well in school, I have no friends, my parents are divorced, I have no idea what to do with my life, and on top of all that, I'm slowly dying of a disease and will most likely be dead in about 10 years or so as a result.
I recently got expelled due to false accusations, but it was a crappy school so it's alright. Aside from that, yeah things are pretty good.
Surely the school's administration would look into the accusations and start an investigation, right? If the accusations were false, they should be able to see that.
I actually really am happy right now. I don't care one bit what happens to me, i'm a religious man and I appreciate what God gave us all. There's absolutely no reason to be depressed. 99.99999999999999% of people that are depressed put themselves in that situation, they're all derived from excuses and things you've done to yourself. If you were dumped by your little girlfriend or whatever, that's because she dumped you for a reason, and the reason is you. But, I am willing to have a happy life on earth and be in heaven later on. Hehe, just remember, #yolo
Seems legit. But, if someone's depression is caused by someone's unexpected death, is the death the depressed person's fault?

Not bad, but it could be better. I have a roof over my head, food, clothes, family & friends, TV, Internet, most of the luxuries of living in a first-world country. Two years ago, I was in the worst part of my life so far: no friends, self-hate, contemplating suicide, et cetera. A few months later, things got better for me. I can't say my life is outstandingly great, but it's going pretty good compared to back then.

95% of teens would scream if Justin Beiber was about to jump of the top of the Empire State Building. If you are in the 5% that would grab a seat and some popcorn and yell JUMP! JUMP! JUMP! post this into your sig.
Currently? Yes, I am very happy about where I am. Coming home from school and going online, going on the forums, playing video games, watching anime..I have a house, food, family, friends.. This is truly a great happy moment of my life. I'm grateful for everything!
Stephen Hawking has that as well, his prognosis says that he should have died decades ago. Now he's on top of the world. You never know what will happen, in your case, the only time there's no hope is when you're dead. I hope that you lose your hope multiple decades from now instead of one.

Aside from the stress of the loads of schoolwork, falling grades/motivation, sinking in and out of depression for roughly 2 years now, and the laundry list of other stuff, I'm perfectly fine.

Stephen Hawking has ALS, which as far as I know usually affects older people. The symptoms of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, which I have, begin to show up when you're pretty young though...and the average lifespan is around 25-30 years. But either way, they're both terrible diseases and, though it's certainly possible I'll live a bit longer than that, I'm still not particularly optimistic about my chances.

Wow, does that suck. Well, hopefully the land of medical science will advance by that time. On the bright side, if someone's moaning about their problems annoyingly, you can always slap them and yell at them about your DMD.

They caused their own depression, therefore they can make them-self happy instead of making them-self depressed.
Statements like this show a person's age so easily. Have you ever had someone die in your life? If not, you have no right to try and say anything regarding the subject.

There's something about your understanding of depression that makes me think you've never experienced it yourself, neither have you really had to deal with grief.

My grandmother died just so recently, I don't need anyone to say that I haven't been through depression. I've also had a great grandmother that I was very attached to die several years back, age 102.

There's so much wrong with that statement, I don't even know what to tell you.
