Early Spongebob was pretty good, never watched the others. I remember Invader Zim was one of my favourite Nickelodeon show as a kid as well. So quirky.
However strictly speaking my favourite cartoon would probably be The Simpsons. The early Simpsons episodes were among the greatest television ever produced and still make me laugh even though I've seen them all so many times. Family Guy has its moments too but it's not near as clever as the Simpsons was.
Spongebob used to be good. I like regular show the most

Yesterday I was on my way to class, when a black cat fell from the sky. I didn't really know what that nonsense was about so I asked him if I could step around him because he was bad luck, but he simply meowed and then disappeared. I was a bit worried that maybe he'd teleported to Afghanistan or somewhere equally dangerous, but a wizard came and assured me that it was alright. I threw my Zune at him because I was 78% sure he was lying. The wizard roared at me and sentenced my mother to thirty five years of chain smoking. I was sad.
Agreed, all of those choices are pretty much just awful at this point.
Honestly, the classic cartoons were the only ones that I can ever see myself watching at this point. Ed Edd n' Eddy, Samurai Jack, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Teen Titans, stuff like that is what needs to be shown today.
No... Not really.
There is no need to show all of the older cartoons again other than for the sake of nostalgia. They are gone. Nothing new is being created for them, and I would rather not watch reruns all the time, no matter how good the show is.
Sure, lots of the newer cartoons aren't as good, but it is better than being stuck in a Groundhog Day situation, watching the same shows over and over again.
You know. I REALLY liked Code Lyoko back when it was around. Of that list, I guess I would have picked Spongebob? But it really isn't what it used to be.
On that list, I pick Regular Show. All of the newer episodes of Spongebob Squarepants are trash in my opinion, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012 is just meh, and as for Incredible Crew. . . no.
Off of that list, Adventure Time would have to be my number one favorite show at the moment, however the new show Steven Universe looks really promising.

I see you misunderstood what I meant... I don't blame you really, but what I meant that they should release shows that have a greater level of depth to them, rather than just nonstop stupid jokes thrown at the viewer nonstop. Although I wouldn't mind seeing them maybe once a year, that's about all the repetition that those classics really need.
I was addressing the fact that you said "stab a knife with" instead of "stab with a knife". It just sounds like something you'd say about someone you like.
"Oh hey, Barry? YEAH! Now THAT'S a guy I'd like to stab a knife with!"
How awkward.

Let's start a revolution and force the OP to allow more choices.
1. Spoungebob Squarepants 2. Regular Show 3. TMNT 2012. Incredible Crew 5. All above
1. This show needs die a slow painful death. It got terrible after the first movie came out, and it just gets worse and worse every season.
2. Haven't watched the show yet, but I really don't like it's really simple and bland art style and animation. The main characters also seem to be really annoying and unlikable.
3. Only seen the first episode, and it was ok. Need to watch more before I make my full opinion on it.
4. From what I've seen, it's really, really annoying, stupid, and moronic. Its terribly unfunny with its random juvenile humor. Glad it's been canceled. Also, why it here in this list? It's not even a cartoon. It may have animated bits, but it's not a cartoon.
Want a good show that's currently out? Watch the Avatar series. It has some really good story telling along with great characters, art style, and animation to top it all off.
1. SpongeBob was my favorite cartoon when I was a child, so I'll have to vote that. Yes, it's sad to see it fall from grace in recent years.
*mumble mumble cultural degradation in our society.*
The worst part, though, is that its decline is (theoretically) easily reversible. All of its problems stem from when the original team, including Stephen Hillensberg, left the production crew after the first movie. All we have to do is to kick out the current, subpar writers and trek the Earth for better ones. But the executives at Viacom will never let that happen.
2. Regular Show is good. Despite its formula of mundane --> magic in one episode, it varies enough to be interesting every time. Not the most family friendly or politically correct show out there, though.

Nope, Nickelodeon got rid of the old writers themselves due to the joke, and told the new writers not to do what they did.

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.

Though I suppose Spongebob used to be pretty decent.
But, in all honesty, my favourite modern cartoons are MLP:FIM, Gravity Falls and Dan vs.
If, however, i were to list my favourite cartoons from whenever, we would have a very long list.

I will get the cattle prods.
I would have to choose Tom and Jerry. Tom and Jerry was my childhood.

3-4. Never heard of them.
Also Incredible Crew isn't a cartoon. It's a live action short compilation, hate to say it but a lot of those aren't good.
However if you are talking about the OLD spongebob (not the kiddy stupid one nowadays), then spongebob would be the best.
Nope, Nickelodeon got rid of the old writers themselves due to the joke, and told the new writers not to do what they did.
