My dad says I cannot be on YouTube! He says I look up bad stuff on it. I don't even look up bad stuff! It's not like I'm watching Miley Cyrus, I look up FSX tutorials and Minecraft videos! But my dad banned me from YouTube! Now how am I supposed to make smooth landings on FSX, or even look up tutorials on minecraft?!
I feel like I was banned for no reason... What should I do?
Well, for me. I find talking to him is a good idea. Explain to him in a calm manor what you actually do on Youtube. Tell him you won't abuse the privileges etc. Sometimes, it's best to give in, kiss some , then move on and earn peoples favors than fight it.

Also, Youtube isn't the only video portal out there.

He's just doing what he thinks is best for you. You can try to show him what you like to watch on You-Tube and maybe he will let you go onto it again.;)
Well, Youtube is filled with videos that would certainly be 'inappropriate' for a young child, many of which aren't even community filtered (not that it'd be hard to create an account and lie about your age). A quick search showed me I could find the 'Red Wedding' from Game of Thrones- not flagged as inappropriate for youths. That scene is very violent to say the least. Hell, I searched "Game of Thrones" violence and found a video compilation of gore and violence that wasn't flagged. I bet you could do that for any violent tv series.
Not to mention the vast amounts of profanity on just about any video produced; maybe his father was more concerned about that.
Not saying I agree with the actions of the father necessarily, but there is no denying Youtube isn't just filled with kittens videos.

This, and we don't really need any more children getting out into more parts of the internet so it can be spoiled for the rest of us when their parents find out their watching PDP or whatever LP'er is hip today and they demand censorship to protect their virgin eyes and ears.
Wait... you're that guy who made this topic about your dad not letting you use "destroyherobrine439" as your username. Judging by the way you posted in that topic and reacted to criticism, it honestly doesn't sound like you're being very mature on the internet. Perhaps your dad has a good reason to ban you from youtube.

Show him some of the TED conference videos if you feel you will absolutely die without your precious Minecraft LPs.

TED is good. TED is like going to a casual, short lecture on interesting things.
It's like NPR lite.

I am not just a head, I have a body too you know.

Was this supposed to be a joke?
Fixed that for you
