So, ever since some famous person I've never heard of said YOLO every "brainwashed" teenage girl has been saying it, and recently, I played the battlefield 3 campaign on hard w/ no aim assist for a little challenge (and it wasn't much of a challenge...) and at the end, there's the cinematic of Dima writing his biography. He says this.
"As Vladimir would say; You Can Only Die Once, make sure it is worth it"
So what do you think? Is this the origins of YOLO?
Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
Well YODO isn't the same acronym as YOLO. Plus I think some rapper made it up.
That's what I mean, I feel like whoever started YOLO just copied it from this and changed it a bit to make it sound different

Yeah, uuhh YOLO has been around before battlefield 3 and probably battlefield 3 copied it off YOLO it self so yeh also it did originate from a t-shirt company

It didn't originate from a t-shirt company, it originated from some guy trying to promote You only Live Once so he made it an acronym and got a company to make t-shirts.

Well they kinda had to make acronym that meant to live your life to the fullest/be careful with it (depending your interpretation) because the acronym for "Seize The Day" was already taken.
You are asking what YOLO means, yet telling anybody that gives you the correct answer to be ashamed of themselves.
Wat.
No, I asked where it originated from, not what it means, and no, what they should be ashamed of is the fact they had enough time to pay attention to media and everything in it, as it is nothing good for you.

This is a joke, right?
No idea what the names of the people are, though.
Sire I inquire as I do with most, but do you mean to gloat? For is it truly such a tire to reply to the host with but a simple QUOTE?
Anyone who does know should be ashamed of paying attention to the media too much.
Incase it isn't, http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/yolo. Google, folks.
Perhaps, perhaps not (:
Retard word derived from You Only Live Once
I'm ashamed of using google.
Now how the hell am I supposed to know it originated from that?
And I'm sure you knew before google
