Halo or Star Wars? Who would win in an epic battle to the death? I want to compare weaponry, ships, cultures, and units to see which is better. The Star Wars is from 0BBY - 19ABY (Galactic Civil War), and Halo is from the newest Halo game.Forgot to add:
THIS IS NOT A WHO'S BETTER!!
This is a comparison to see which faction would best the other. I want information both about Halo and Star Wars.

"Hokey Religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster by your side"
Star Wars is so OP over Halo it isn't even funny. But it's okay in its own universe because everything is OP. It's kind of like pitting a modern soldier against a Medieval pikeman. Sure, the modern day soldier has worthy adversaries, but he'll destroy the pikeman.
I disagree, I think both sides would be evenly pitched.
Two words: Death Star.
It was established that projectile weaponry couldn't pass through its exhaust port shield. Also, it was found only with the plans, which were on a hard copy disk and not a network the UNSC could dig through (and even then, Leia was a member of the government and thus had access to the plans.) It's unlikely they'd even find the exhaust port to kill it.

Ugh, exclude the deathstar right now, just Capitol ships ok?

I'm not a fan of Halo so I can't say I know very much about it, but I think Star Wars would destroy Halo. I mean, even if the technology is close, Star Wars is an entire galaxy against... well, not a galaxy.

My current avatar is: Raistlin Majere from the Dragonlance novels.
They had both, RC. I don't see why they wouldn't use them.
I think there was only one eclipse ever made, and there were at least 20 executor, but in the galactic civil war there was about 2-3.Also, the eclipse wasn't completed until whey after the galactic civil war, If i remember right.

How did 20 Executors go down to 3? That makes no sense. And yes, there was one Eclipse. But that doesn't mean that they couldn't use it.
Think of it, the logistical capability of the Empire is better. If they can afford all of these awesome spaceships with no visible hiccups in the galactic economy, they'd smash the UNSC who almost went bankrupt after the Infinity was built.

I said at the time of the galactic civil war there were 2-3, but by the time of the legacy era there was at least 20.That's. 20 ever made.

If I'm right, there were only 2 executor-class Star Destroyers made during the time period of the Origional Trilogy: Darth Vader's one and the sister ship that was buired at Corusaunt and had building built on top of it.
There might have been a 3rd, its been a long time since I've read the books.
I think we need to start small, Lets say Technologies from Star Wars 1-3 (or 4-6 if you think that way) vs. halo 1-3 tech, that way we don't have to worry about expanded universes (books, games, etc.)
In fact lets begin with the first comparison, UNSC marine vs. Stormtrooper/Rebel soldier.
UNSC Marine.
Number in army: Unknown Basic Gear: Urban/Jungle fatigues CH252 Helm: Mounted Flashlight, Microphone, HUD visor +1 tactical slot (camera, Night vision Visor, Explosive proof face cover) M52B Body Armor: Ballistic shock gel layer, heat reduction (counter plasma burn), and many packs for ammo. Other Equipment: Portable electricity generator, Gas mask, Duct Tape, Electronic lock pick (because breaking doors down with force is rude)
Weaponry:
Battle Rifle
Assault rifle
Machine Gun Turret
Sniper Rifle (see if it can penetrate stormtroopers armor)
Rocket launcher

The one buried on Coruscant was called Lusankya, and the other one was called Knight Hammer.
Overview
Stormtroopers were the elite soldiers of the Galactic Empire. Like Imperial-class Star Destroyers and TIE fighters, stormtroopers served as ever present reminders of the absolute power of Emperor Palpatine. These faceless enforcers of the New Order were considered an extension of the Emperor's will, and thus they often used brutal tactics as a way to keep thousands of star systems throughout the galaxy in line. At the height of the Empire, stormtroopers had effectively become symbols of brutality and terror. With few exceptions, they were distinguished from all other military units by their signature white armor.
Basic Equipment:
All stormtroopers donn high grade plastoid armor impervious to most pistols and solid projectile weapons and would protect the trooper from some military grade rifles and carbines. Stormtroopers carry cylindrical thermal detonators that can be set for 6-18 seconds. They also carry a grappling hook, several extra magazines, and various special rounds compatable with an E-11 blaster carbine ( I.E- tranquilizer, incendiary ect.)

Anyone know about the halo Capitol ships?
Ugh, exclude the deathstar right now, just Capitol ships ok?
That didn't seem to stop them when they blew up 2 death stars and beat the Empire
It's a viable piece of military equipment, but okay.
Here's a Super Star Destroyer.

EDIT: By "other one", I mean the third one.
