If I can stand the default font on a forum, I'll usually go with it. Arial, for example, I can easily tolerate.
I have a tendency to like fonts like Courier New and other fixed-width fonts (remember fixedsys, anyone?). For Courier New, I usually use size 10, but it shows up extra-small on these forums.
But there is one font I cannot stand. It's not Comic Sans, either, although Comic Sans can look ridiculous in certain situations.
It's TIMES NEW ROMAN. I CANNOT STAND THAT FONT. Which sucks because pretty much every teacher in the school wants papers in Times New Roman, size 12, double spaced. Ungliest font known to mankind.
