My current history teacher, she gets all her history info from wikipedia (IE. the first hot air balloon was invented in 1955) and the assignments she gives us ask to define all the words you didn't recognize, an assignment that assumes idiocy on the part of a student is incredibly pointless especially when the reading would be at a fifth grade level in countries with better education systems.
My 3rd 4th and 5th period teachers are too busy crying about lacked funding that I literally have no work to do then get yelled at for it. I did a weeks worth of assignments one day and they YELLED at me for having no more work. I literally walked out of the classroom and told the principal that according to them, being finished with my work deserves punishment.
We once had a substitute who was rather dislikeable. The previous class had been music, and I'd had to pack up a big@ss instrument and as a result of that and the class being slightly dragged out, I got out a few minutes late. I then forgot where my bag was, but found it and ran off to my next class. When I got there, the door was closed, so I knocked on it to be let in. I looked through the tiny 10x10 cm gap of a window, and saw her sitting there and thought "oh god" (we had had her previously for English once, she made us sit and plan without any teaching for the whole lesson). So anyway, she opened the door and snapped at me "Why are you here?! Can't you see I was talking to someone?! You're very late, sit down!"
Very late? As in one or two minutes? And how was I supposed to know she was talking to someone through a door almost soundproofed and with a tiny crack of a window?
It just goes to show that people almost always judge the person and not the situation.
...Some English/Reading teacher in high school, hated him. I remember hearing he even made some girl cry...and I had nightmares about him.
Anyways, he was extremely strict. >.>
I'n 9th grade I had to take physics and orchestra.
My physics teacher was a really nice guy don't get me wrong. But when he graded papers it was his way or an F even if it was better and works(I hate it when teachers do this). He also never gave examples he just told us and then that was it, no time for notes. Also that same year I had orchestra, I was convinced that teacher had it out for me, all because "I didn't sit in my chair right". Okay and? why do you care how I sit I lay my back on the back of the chair that's what chairs are for, this isn't a stool. Luckily that teacher left the following year. She liked everyone except me. It was ridiculous at some points. There were a few other things such as missing an after school practice, there 2 cases of this. The first being that there was a pep rally that day and no one was allowed back in no matter what, and the other instance is that I couldn't get a ride home, I can't help the fact that my parents work and couldn't get out of work early enough.
Social studies. Teacher said you can work on anything
>says you can work on anything
>sees you working on english homework
>takes it away
>gives you afterschool detention
WTF

~i dont run away from you....i walk slowly and it kills me that you dont care enough to stop me......You think this is truly the end hero NAH it has only just begun!
My answers are correct but the teacher checked it wrong. I asked my dad to check the exam papers and he laughed at what did my language teacher done.
That, was, horrible.
Gaming, history, science and technology enthusiast. Don't mind my cynicism.
