I achieved running a 5k (3.1m) cross country race in 18:59. Woot!
I'm feeling quite happy about my witty english paper. It's a personal narrative, about writing a personal narrative. A personal narrative is basically a descriptive story of a part of your life.
Yay
I was never very good at writing, that's why I got so anxious when my english teacher, Ms. Welsh, assigned a personal narrative for the class. My first that was, “What's a personal narrative?” She explained how it was a descriptive story of your life and told us to think of a topic over the weekend. I thought quite a lot of all the more colorful, entertaining parts of my life, but none of them seemed to work. I thought of my painful, weary times in cross country where I had to muster up determination and endurance to reach my goals. I thought of my glorious victories in soccer, and the fun times I shared with my teammates. I reckoned I could go down a more negative path, perhaps a skiing accident. I figured a lot people would choose a sport, so I switched thought trains. Perhaps I could write about the more deeper events of my life. Maybe I could write about the emotional conflicts I had when I was young and my parents stopped living together. I contemplated writing about my struggles to be accepted in school. This task was too hard, I finally decided to do what I do best, procrastinate. I eventually asked my friends what their topic was. I was right, most of them were about a great event in some sport. This was quite difficult. I was right to feel anxious. After some procrastination, I finally got around to writing my personal narrative. In this his task, not unlike the first, I was faced with much difficulty. I'm not very good at general writing because my thought process just does not match up with my english teacher's thought process. However, I found that writing a personal narrative is easier for me because it doesn't require such a rigid structure it was almost like I was free-styling, except in writing, and I can't freestyle. Nevertheless, it was still hard. Thankfully, I remembered to add sentence openers. I also kept in mind to have perfect punctuation, much to the amusement of my mother, who likes to read over my writing, but usually is disappointed about my lack of punctuation skills. I very carefully, wittingly, and decisively placed descriptive language in my narrative, which I handled like a newborn infant. I did my best to avoid awkward sentences too. I eventually ran into the problem of redundant adjectives! My synonyms were running out! This was becoming increasingly difficult. My palms were getting sweaty, I was getting thirsty, and I kept getting bothered by friends texting me! Despite these troubles, I pushed on! At this point, I ran into perhaps my largest problem. My word count. I only had four hundred and sixty words! I needed six hundered words at the least to meet Ms. Welsh's requirements! I thought perhaps I just stall a little bit. I would throw in some meaningless sentences just to fill up the words! I thought perchance she wouldn't notice at all! I couldn't throw in too many of these filler sentences. My laziness would be too obvious! I didn't know what to do at this point really. I had pretty much ran out of material at that point. I looked at my word count again. I pushed up my word count to five hundred and forty eight words! Better, but I still had a long way to go. This was getting very overwhelming! It was too hard! I finally said, “Ah! I can't finish it!” Then suddenly, I realized I just did.
I'm also getting better at crossing my comfort zone (social-wise.)
Post your accomplishments if you want! Even if they aren't much!

"My first that was, “What's a personal narrative?”
minor typo there.
Well darn. Looks like it's too late to change that.
Nice Schmoople! I got a 98 on a math test recently!

"The war has ended. Give it up, we can all live in peace now."
Being the person who "ruined the game" in Physics (TOP SET SCIENCE ALL THE WAY).
The teacher said "so, does anyone actually know what the Speed of Light is? This'll be a fun game".
So I put my hand up, and say "299,792,458 metres per second, miss".
And everyone looks at me like, "how the **** did he know that".
Well, in order to work the out the E=MC^2 of anything, you need to know the Speed of Light.
XD that's pretty funny really!
Off topic but pretty interesting:
I'm pretty sure my science teacher is a secret agent. She knows like... everything, she's worked for the government, know a lot of languages (and if you ask how many she knows, she won't tell you), she know a bunch of computer languages, and a few other things I can't remember xD. The class jokes about it sometimes.

My most recent accomplishment was merely an accident. I was playing a fighting game, and I was using a few moves that don't create a very big combo attack. One move somehow unexpectedly unleashed a combo of 617, which doesn't usually happen with that character. The enemy was trying to shield itself, and the move still did damage, K.O.'ed my opponent, and was still going after the word "K.O." appeared on the screen. Even happened when fighting a boss character with an extremely high defense.

Running a 5k in 18:59 is quite an accomplishment. My best time is 30:39. (I know, I'm pretty slow.) I've gotten a lot better since then. I can run for over an hour without having to stop and walk. It may not seem like much to someone doing cross country, but it's been a big improvement for me. Anyway, congrats for such a good time on a 5k!

Thanks buddy! A best time is relative. As long as you gave it your all, you did great! I'm blessed with quite a bit of talent, so for me running an 18:59 might be easier then running a 30:39 for you! Keep up the good work and never get discouraged!
Love from a fellow runner

Congratulations. I got Star a while ago. Youngest recorded person to actually get Star Scout in my troop.

I must say I do envy boy scouts sometimes... "Great job do you want a cookie?"
Eh, many wouldn't consider that an accomplishment.
