I'm trying to learn how to speak Russian, I don't know why but the language just fascinates me. I feel like I should learn Spanish since I live in America and its the second language, but Eastern ish European languages like German and Russian or Swedish just sound badass. Do you guys or gals on the forums know any other languages besides your home countries? Cause I don't!

I'm currently teaching myself how to speak Russian and I'm taking Spanish in school. I know quite a bit of Spanish. I'm also going to take Mandarin Chinese in school this year, but I haven't started yet. Eventually, I want to learn Japanese.
How much Russian do you already know? I'm teaching myself with this website.
Knowing how to say 'hello' is not enough to say you speak "a little" of something . Do you really know how to speak all of those languages or can you only say a few words for most of them?

I don't know that much Russian but i'm getting there. I'm taking Spanish in school too, just that I am really stupid and I don't pay attention as much as I should. Your lucky man you got Mandarin at you school all I got is Spanish, French, and Italian. But damn Russian is tricky to write on paper though I'm trying to write in whole sentences then say them, sometimes I can't read my own hand writing lol. Oh and thanks for website link, i've been using Youtube to learn Russian lol.

One of the things that confuses me about Russian is that some letters look different when they're handwritten, but I just write it how it is on the computer anyway. I'm pretty quick when it comes to learning how to read languages, but I'm having trouble memorizing the different noun conjugations.

I would tell you about how awesome I am down here, but I have a feeling you probably already know that. <- Please. ._.

I hate conjugations in any language lol when I took my Spanish test on conjugations I failed and it really hurt my grade. Writing in Russian confuses me. I'm alright at reading Russian text or writing I guess, but when it comes down to writing I always mess up on the very Russian letters.

It just takes practice. You shouldn't try to mimic the computer exactly. For example, you can get away with doing the line going down on Щ as just a slanted line.

I should study Spanish more seeing as I'm not far from the Mexican border and the language is very common here.
Damn you know some pretty good stuff though.
Spanish is tricky I tried to learn it didn't get far. lol
Nice!
Spanish is easy. :V
Its a derivative of Latin so its not too terribly different from English.
If you want hard go try learning one of the oriental languages, such as Mandarin.

You should learn some Nordic languages. Not too many different letters.
Je parle Francais.
Ich sprache Deutsch.
English is my mother tongue, I take French classes in school, and I learn German on the side.
I think that Finnish is the most useless language I know, I would've much rather born somewhere else...
