Haven't checked this topic I posted in quite some time, wow guys really appreciate the replies and everything! Really interesting quotes, if this shows up keep them coming!
i live up to this quote:
"don't cry because its over, smile because it happened" words of doctor suess,
i will always carry my memories of my elementary school with me. i am in 6th grade (they include that as elementary) and also live to this quote (there is a sun in this one, you can't tell if its rising or setting)
"i have the heart to know that that is a rising not a setting sun" (not sure if its exact but it was close)
that means that you should always look to the bright side of things
"Don't criticize me, I'm doing something. I'm not doing anything great, but I'm doing something. What about you? Stop critizing and get your ass moving."
Laugh, and the world laughs with you; Weep, and you weep alone. ~ Ella Wheeler Wilcox
Let him who would enjoy a good future waste none of his present. ~Roger Babson
The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A Man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time. ~Mark Twain
“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”
Someone gets an injury that doesn't kill them, but renders them in hospital care for the rest of their lives. They die of completely non-injury related causes. How would the injury make them stronger?
Well okay, but what if they don't end up in the hospital and stay there until the rest of their lives? Then that makes the quote correct - if they are in hospital care for the rest of their lives, then what they did killed them, making the quote accurate. If they are effected by non-injury causes, then that isn't the "what-they-did-to-make-them-stronger's" fault.
More like:
"Just because things are bad now, doesn't mean they will be that way forever."
"Meow." -My cat
