Hmmmm.... May I ask what generation? 5-6 could mean somewhere around 2-3rd generation. 2 you could get quite a good amount of money. Somewhere 1000-1250 dollars, if you sell the rare ones separately and sell the rest in bulk. 3rd I'd say 800-1000 dollars if you sell them the same way I suggested you sold the 2nd generation.
Is it actually a themed deck?
If it is themed, which types?
Which ones are rare?
Erm, it's a bunch of decks put together. It has a shitton of cards. No EX's, but a few legendary. Of course, I won't be mentioning "no EX's" on craigslist =p

Cry a river. Punch a tree. Craft and build a wooden bridge over the river. Use your bridge to GET OVER IT.

The generations are from left to right on the top selection. Scroll down each menu and see which ones you can recognize from your cards in there.

I don't think I have any of the special cards lol.
EDIT: Just found out, a few of these cards are 7-8 years old. Jesus.

Special cards is such an overused term. Aluminum or "Shiny" is good. So is Legendaries. Since they are not sold in stores anymore most of them could be considered "rare" if they are 2nd to 3rd generation.

No shiny-cards though.

Hmmm, hard to say. I recommend Craigslist though. And don't sell the rare ones with the bulk. Any stage 3 cards, shiny, or legendary are worth more than 50 cents. You could get anywhere from five hundred to ten hundred.
-Condition of the cards
-What sets they're from
-If it's a full set or no
-If the set is still in print (though I doubt that considering the age)
-How many of each card
-Number of foils
-Rarity of cards
-And general interest of possible buyers.
So it's just really hard to pin down a proper price.
I think around 5-6 years old. Still in fine condition, however.

You can sell uncommon to rare ones at about 3-5 dollars. And if you sell the common ones bulk around 50-80 cents with how old they are.
Err, it has http://www.collectorscache.com/StoreModules/ProductImages/760/pokemon-cardback_english.jpg on the back. How can I tell?

The older the better. There are tons of selling guides you can buy for 5 bucks of so.
So what's a fair price for around 500 7-8 year old cards?
