Like the topic title says, what is your favorite person from history?
Mine would have to be Genghis Khan. He united many of the nomadic tribes in Asia, getting respect from khans and clans everywhere. He was an amazing tactician and leader that lead his people to many riches and land.
I'd say...William Shakespeare his writing were really far ahead for his time but yet so little is known about him (i had to do a research topic on him in english) very little record is kept yet so much assumptions of his early life before his appearance in paris
Mine would have to be Leonardo Da Vinci mainly because he was a extremely smart and talented in his art. I mean he was the first to even think of a machine gun, a tank and a anti-ship weapon. My other would have to be the famous United States General George S. Patten this guy was a great tactictian and veteran himself. He didn't take crap from anyone. My third one is Sun-Tzu The guy basically wrote down everything needed to know about the art of war.
Current voice of the Nintendo mascot Mario. He made his debut on the PC game Mario's FUNdamentals in 1995 and has voiced the character in every game then on.
I'd have to say...wait, like, anybody? Does it have to be somebody that made a difference? Because, if I did that, it would Einstien. If it wouldn't have to be somebody who made a difference, it'd be Wayne Gretzky.
I'm not sure about the whole religious premonition thing, but they knew how to throw down. Teaching men that women can be just a strong. Besides that the time era, the location, the general story surrounding Joan is just, well interesting. Particularly how Joan was betrayed by the country they saved.

What scares me is that this is all from memory.

This one? or exactly like this question?
Close behind him would be Suleiman the magnificent, bringing the golden age of the ottoman empire.
Napoleon is a pretty cool dude, but He fails to stand up to these people in my opinion.
Edit: Just remembered, Nicola Tesla would rank in there somewhere, for his contribution to science, Edison is a hack.
