Now I'm going to be honest, I really do need assistance locating proper sources for information to either scientifically confirm or deny these claims. So if I was to start actually implementing this stuff into my diet I cannot just go on a website that does not provide appropriate information or support.
So OTters . . .
What might you know of this whole wheatgrass deal? Have you yourself used Wheatgrass?

They certainly do, and this is the only source I've actually had wheatgrass from, but even there we have no scientific information to support any claims.

(jkI don't like wheat grass, it's pretty nasty. I wonder why my cat likes it so much...)
That tid bit about cats enjoying wheat grass seems to be the only common factor I can find In my research.

1 Wheatgrass Juice is one of the best sources of living chlorophyll available.
Chlorophyll is a pigment; it isn't alive.
2 Chlorophyll is the first product of light and, therefore, contains more light energy than any other element.
This is nonsense. Light does not produce chlorophyll. Chlorophyll does not contain light energy. Chlorophyll is not an element.
3 Wheatgrass juice is a crude chlorophyll and can be taken orally and as a colon implant without toxic side effects.
Huh? More nonsense. Chlorophyll is in the leaves of plant. Wheatgrass juice is not a crude chlorophyll. Seriously. Biology textbook. Read it. The way they throw around "Chlorophyll" is the same way you hear "new age"rs throw around the word "quantum", much to the chagrin of physicists.
4 Chlorophyll is the basis of all plant life.
No. Chlorophyll is not the basis of all plant life. Not all plants need Chlorophyll, nor do all plants use Chlorophyll, nor do all plants need sunlight.
5 Wheatgrass is high in oxygen like all green plants that contain chlorophyll. The brain and all body tissues function at an optimal level in a highly-oxygenated environment.
Sulphuric acid is high in oxygen (H2SO4, that's 4 oxygen atoms for every 3 other atoms!), but you don't hear me telling people to drink it (though if I didn't have a conscience I would likely have made an exception for the people pushing this ****)!
6 Chlorophyll is anti-bacterial and can be used inside and outside the body as a healer.
********. The stomach acid would destroy the chlorophyll before it even reached the intestines... and we need our gut flora (bacteria included) otherwise we become quite ill.
7 Dr. Bernard Jensen says that it only takes minutes to digest wheatgrass juice and uses up very little body energy.
... Digestion normally takes hours. You know that runny, watery ****-flavoured stew that comes out your ass when you're sick or you eat something that isn't good for you? Yeah, that's what you get when your body only takes a few minutes to digest something... It's called diarrhoea.
...
I've read enough. This is utter ********. A scam.
This is the same sort of crap that has people self-medicate rather than see a real doctor. Critical thinking REALLY needs to be taught more, especially while people are young...
I've got a riddle for you: What do you call alternative medicine that works?
MEDICINE!
You want a real "super-food"? Eat a &!*%@ kiwifruit!

Well that used to be the original diet of the human species, along with bark and other twigs, but no.
I don't think that any of that is true, but even if it was, that doesn't really mean it's at all good for you or even ideal. "Originally" humans probably spent a good deal of time pretty close to starving and so spent a good deal of time and energy just trying to get something to eat regardless of what it was. You know how humans have been increasing in height since the beginning of history? That's largely due to improving nutrition. Of course at this point the availability of foods that are so easy for the body to get and digest has an unfortunate tendency to also make us considerably wider when coupled with our largely sedentary lifestyle.

I was basically making a rough generalization based on mostly hearsay from biology and history courses. But you got my drift of the idea I guess.

Gorillas actually eat a lot of roots, pith, stems, leaves, etc. That may be where he got the idea from.

cats eat grass when there not feeling well. If she does it repetitively you might what to take her to the vet.
When talking about enzymes of the chlorophyl in the wheatgrass will assist us in detoxifying ourselves.
I'm getting more and more skeptical by the second.

I've begun to notice a trend of how some claims are true but are well underneath other well known sources of nutrition.
