Do you find OT intimidating? Not necessarily scary, but do you find it is hard or intimidating to find your place in the OT society or that you have to check your posts several times to make sure it is witty enough or grammatically correct? Do you think that the OTters is a selective group and that it's difficult to become a part of? Do you believe OT society is unaccepting of new people or certain types of people? I just wanted your guys opinion on this.
Slightly so yes. You see these people with titles such as Lapis Lazuli Collecter, Ghast Hunter, and a though fewer in number Pig Tamer with heir four-digit post count and witness how they get along with each other and you find yourself to be the new outsider.
I feel like I need to go through some sort of hazing to be established as part of the OT.
Nope, I don't care about most of the threads and try to not get into pointless arguments, which makes it easy to not find it intimidating. I just post when I feel like it.
As long as you keep up a regular presence and speak your mind, you'll become known. If while you're doing it you're intelligent, funny, and nice, then maybe you'll even become well-liked.

I never found OT intimidating. If I didn't find it intimidating in that other forum I used to frequent, I sure as heck won't here.
We called it /ot/ where I come from. And, NO, it's not 4chan...

I'm always happy just 'cause there isn't a reason to be sad.
Don't take this as there is nothing that could cause sadness. I just mean it's pointless to dwell on it. I mean, depression is so boring.
No, not at all. I don't really care what others think about me, although if they do insult me, I reply in defense. I only do it to show that I'm not a n00b/*****. If I don't reply, than they think I am one and will never respect me again :'(

-hugs you-
Welcome to OT. :smile.gif:
Can I get a hug?

Now that being said. Ponies.
Why thank you! :happy.gif:

I agree with NEREVAR, there is some social hierarchy here.
