I alternate between the two naturally, it may be a subconsious switch or it could be because I am currently trying to analysis what sparks intrest in the current day generation so I can further blend in with society...wait I'm sorry that has nothing to do with this.
I think that if they believe you are higher up on the social ladder they will try to mimic you to try and rise themselves. On the other hand it could be a that they want to be taken seriously and aren't already. I can't say because I haven't done the appropriate legwork.
Some of you clearly don't understand the difference between proper grammar, and correct spelling. You think people could tell the difference but a lot don't.
I don't really care all that much, but it can be a bit nauseating when people make horrific errors like this:
"so today i liek did dis one thing it waz cuul nd stuf"
Grammar and spelling there.
I guess since we're talking about grammar and spelling I can voice my opinion about words!
Does it bother anyone when people get; there, their, and they're mixed up? Or even; were, and we're. I can't even help myself. It makes me so angry I just want to stop texting that person.
To me, grammar is everything. I can't take you seriously if you type like a 5th grader but a few errors here and there are alright. (As long as you are okay with me making fun of you after noticing said errors)
To me, jokes, stories, ideas, arguments, and random chit-chat are all vastly improved if typed out correctly.

I enjoy when people correct me I just dont like it if they say it in a "snobby" way.
nuttim mch jst chilen. u?
It's a joke. You make it seem like I have something against people just because they don't use full grammar.
That could be a possibility.
Hi guys, what's up? I'm bored.
How do you like being corrected, huh?
Let's all get along... or something optimistic like that.
It was a joke, and even so, you failed. Nice job sir, nice job (sarcastic).
That's still wrong -.-
Hi guy's whats up? I'm bored.
But we still know what he said in the original post so why would anyone care?
Sweet baby jesus. I just love it when people incorrectly correct an incorrect correction.
Going by how you split the sentences up, it should be like this:
"Hi guys, what's up? I'm bored."
It's like inception.

I was thinking the same thing when I typed it.
Dear God!
I thought I had put the comma in there but I plum forgot!
But I revert to my previous question, why do people care this much?
Because we are either OCD or grammer police.
Let's all get along... or something optimistic like that.
"so today i liek did dis one thing it waz cuul nd stuf"
I tried to correct you for a joke.
I dont mine I learn from my many mistakes. :mellow.gif:
I have to agree, I had a friend that deemed vowels useless with messages like;
"hey mn wnna cme gt waystd at th prk?"
Needless to say the answer would be "no".

Hahahaha! I wasn't the one you were correcting. I just thought you were being stuck up and I wanted to ascern my postion as such.
