Mine has always been a love of the B-17. My dad was a bombardier in WWII, his plane was Cock of the Walk, what a plane. When I lived in Arizona there was a museum there that had a ton of the old WWII aircraft, and the B-17 was one of them. My dad and I went there all the time, if you want I will post a pic of him standing by the Cock of the Walk?
While I was in the Navy I was able to tinker with a TBF Avenger that was at one of the bases I was stationed at, but my work and love unfortunately has always really been Naval Aviation. The Avenger and the Corsair for the most part, but I was privileged enough to be able to work on A4s, A7s, A6s, F14s, and F/A-18 Hornets. Oh, I did work on H-3s, H-60s, E2-Hawkeyes, and S3s, both models, the jammers and sonar models. I miss those days, but hey, all good things come to an end. Let me know if you want me to post any pics?
Edit, I put them in for you anyway, lol. There is an extra plane in there, but the pictures are very old and not that good, sorry.

I have always liked b-24s and b-17s.
Mosquito is pretty sexy. I recently got the LEGO "Propeller adventures" kit and the main model from it is basically a Mosquito.
Sorry, can't post the image! just go to google images or what have you and search "LEGO 7292" it looks LOT like a mosquito.
OT: I have to add the P-40 Tiger Shark to my list of fav fighters.
F4U Corsair (fighter)
B-24 (bomber)
That is my favourite planes of WWII
