The average temperature of the Earth is rising, yes.

It's more commonly accepted as global climate change, mostly because the Earth is cooling in some areas as well as warming. Back to the topic, I do believe it to be real, as most scientist agree it is as well.
To everyone citing UFO's as being as "believable" as climate change, I remind you that a UFO is just that, an Unidentified Flying Object, the name tends to explain itself. If someone believes in UFO's being real, well I think it's obvious that they aren't lying, they just couldn't identify the object at the time.

Which is exactly what I meant when I said that I believed U.F.O.s to the same extent as global climate change. I believe there are unidentified objects out there that fly, but I also believe they have a scientific explanation. Which isn't aliens.
Methane would be no problem at all if it wasn't for our ability to industrialize just about all methods of it being released. Cows wouldn't be so plentiful or gassy if it weren't for the way we feed and protect them.
Hehhe, I was only kidding when I said "cow farts".
I think that Global warming is just another cycle just as the ice age was.
It's a cycle with a cause. The positive feedback effects of global warming are well known, but what sets off the cycle? Due to the unusual rate at which temperature has increased in the last 50+ years, most reasonable scientists studying climate change are left to conclude that the trigger this time was human industrialization.

I think that Global warming is just another cycle just as the ice age was.
Climate change is a cycle, and the Ice age wasn't a cycle, it was the cause of climate change, a period of intense cooling followed by small episodes of what's known as "interglacials" or warming. Just as methane and carbon dioxide are part of climate change today, it was part of how the Ice age came into being (other factors were also attributed to the Ice age, just pointing these out). Which is mostly why I don't understand how people don't believe it to be true.

2. Global warming and UFOs are not true, because you make the assumption that UFOs means aliens, and that global warming is caused by humans. Neither of which there is any evidence to support either side of such claims
No evidence? http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/706307-is-global-warming-real/page__view__findpost__p__9226600
What do you call this? Also the mere size of the universe and the adaptable nature of life itself is enough evidence for many people that we should expect aliens to exist. The chance that Earth is the only location in the universe inhabited by life should be incomprehensibly small, but that's another matter altogether.
I'm really sick of the whole "I haven't bothered to do any research about global warming. Therefore there is no evidence for anthropogenic climate change." argument. As I've said before, the only people who still don't believe in it are the people who don't know anything about it.
This is aimed at everyone: Before you say there is no evidence for something, check.
If you're going to make bold generalisations about climate change, back them up.
If you want your argument to be considered valid, know what you're talking about.

Hope this isn't too much of a detour:
Exist? Yes. Be intelligent and carry out a mass campaign of showing their spaceships to us and generally causing a nuisance while refusing to actually make contact with us? Based on the competitive nature of life itself, I'm gonna have to say it's unlikely.
Well lets think about it this way. Ice is now melting and is "supposedly" caused by global warming which is caused by us. However, when Ice Age stopped what melted the ice? Was it global warming? I'm pretty sure there were no artificial carbon emission made. SO think about it this way, American scientist can tell us what they want because we will believe it. Truthfully, I don't think there is a such thing as Global Warming. Ozone layer? Probably caused by something else.

You know, there is more than one reason and time scale when it comes to science.

Yay, another person who doesn't believe in global warming because they don't know **** about it. Just what the world needs.
Ok, you're back? If you still don't believe in global warming it means you didn't read that post, so I'll deal with yours now:
Yes, global warming occurred after the last ice age. Global warming means exactly that: The Earth got warmer. How else would we have gotten out of the ice age. The global warming we are experiencing now is not the only period of warming the Earth has experienced. It is the only anthropogenic one. I don't know enough about prehistoric climate but I do know that the warming at the end of the last ice age was by natural causes, not anthropogenic.
It's not just one American Scientist. It's almost EVERY CLIMATE SCIENTIST IN THE WORLD, and everyone who actually knows what they're talking about. Anyone who does the research or even understands the basic mechanics of it all knows anthropogenic climate change is real. If you read my post, you should also know that now. We should believe all these people who have devoted a large portion of their life to studying this generally accepted phenomenon, but the problem is people like you don't, for no reason.
The Ozone layer is not caused by everything. It has always been there. There are 'holes' in the ozone layer, mainly caused by chlorofluorocarbons from products like aerosols. However this has nothing to do with global warming, so why bring it up?
I cannot stress this enough everybody: Do not make such huge bold statements like "Global Warming isn't real", and go against the general opinion of every rational-minded person in the world without actually knowing what the hell you're talking about.
Nope. It's a government conspiracy to make you use less plastic.
OR, it's the end of the ice age, and has been happening since then. :biggrin.gif: </did_not_do_the_research>

Then what is?
Like anime? Try Visual Novels.

I might remind you that the domestication and proliferation of bovines is entirely caused by humans. Even so, check it:
