Shame I live in britain so the only semi-automatics allowed have to be rimfires of .22 or less in caliber. That leaves me with .22wmr as the most powerful semi-auto allowed. Jump over the pond (I'm superman) and suddenly I'm allowed an M82
No kidding. I've seen the bastardized single shot MP-5's you guys got. I know one guy that went though all of the ******** to get a license to sell guns there, bought one handgun that he probably legally can't possess in his own name, a beat to hell hi-power, and he thought it was the greatest thing in the world. I feel for you guys, I really do, but if you want your rights back you're going to have to fight for them.
Not really, I certainly wouldn't be shooting a real gun at people for fun.
I wouldn't shoot an airsoft gun at people either. I understand it's a sport though and that's an exception to the rule. Off of the field though, I don't want any airsofter sweeping me with his gun. I don't want my eye shot out due to his incompetence.
You should have heard my mom the first time I got a gun. I was only sixteen or seventeen at the time and someone gave it to me. My dad doesn't really care though. He told me I wasn't allowed to buy ammo, but on my 18th, I bought some anyway. I know more about guns than he does, and he wasn't about to kick me out of the house over it anyway.

I got a bow and some arrows... that count for anything?
*there may or may not be cake
Not in a gun thread.
ok... how about this airsoft gun that resembles a handgun?

I suppose you could count a toy, since most people own real guns as toys.
Airsoft guns are guns. They might not be deadly, but they still are guns, and should be treated just like any other gun.
I shot a cicada square in the torso and it hopped away :/

Nope. They compliment each other, but they aren't better for self defense. I actually made a video about it:
You're probably right. It's just the thing that I like the kitchen kinda feeling when cutting someone up. :smile.gif:
