That's a bit harsh. Just because you've chosen to have children doesn't mean you can't live life anymore. You have added responsibility, yes, but this can be an extremely good thing for some people and merely because you don't like the idea of children doesn't mean they do as well.
I doubt you are going to find too many people who answer yes on this forum because most of the participants are under 18, even. Being 17 myself, I don't CURRENTLY have any kids. However, I do plan on it in the future. :tongue.gif:
I agree that having children can be an even greater joy, but at such a young age is just ridiculous (they were both 17). There are so many other things they could have done before deciding to have a kid, neither of them had jobs at the time, and the friend is still looking for a job. A child isn't something that should be rushed, having one just to prove something is also a bad idea. Though in their case, it was an "accident".
I didn't mean you can't live your life anymore, but having that extra responsibility changes the dynamics of your life, especially for the first 1 to 3 years.
I think I only know of two people on these forums who can honestly answer yes to the poll.
My sister got pregnant at 16 and i agree her life has been **** these passed years.
Powers are for the weak. I have no powers. I mean - unless you count the power to blow minds with my weapons-grade philosophical insights. I'm a thought-o-coaster, I'm the conundrummer in a band called Life Puzzler.

Why's that?
Colour me stupid then... :dry.gif:
Some days I'm inclined to concur with that opinion, other days I'm a happy mother of two.
