damn man why so much hate
in all honesty we treat it like a holiday now to reflect
so whats your opinion on the holocaust then? that was many years ago so their must be more people dead of other causes over the years then the holocaust.
or do you dont hate it as much because it doesnt have a specific day?
I don't hate, I just express my opinion on a subject.
About the holocaust, I think we should remember it, but not waste time mourning it (as with 9/11), but only because those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.
They are not confused at all, they are indoctrinated to hate Isreal and those who support Isreal, they have one goal in mind and that is to spread the Ideas of Islam, in this case, through being a martyr. I suppose you would also call the lockerbie bomber a "Confused madman." Don't sugarcoat murder, and don't candy-coat murderers.
9/11 was arguably the worst disaster for America. And we should never forget the victims of that disaster. It's just little sad that we forget the thousands of people who die every day because of hunger or war and ect...
I think a lot of you people are just letting your emotions get in the way. Yeah 9/11 was a big deal... but it wasn't the worst thing that's ever happened. On 11/9/1979 America almost blew up the world. This is fact. Check your history books google.

Less than 3k lives were taken from the 14th greatest country on earth, taken by confused madmen corrupted by an evil lunatic.
So you mourn every single dead person, or none?
I do not.
i my self was a kid more so i basicly don't really care sure it was sad that poeple died but as far as i see the world gets worse and worse each year becouse really the last day of the year as you watch the ball drop is happy but like i said the world is so bad and corupt by evil that after everyone goes home the next day someone could be killed the next day thats just how messed up this world is so as far as i can say 9/11 does not really matter to me
Its not the fact that the people died, its that they were essentially murdered by the terrorists. Yes, people die every day, yes its sad, but do you see 2000+ people murdered every day? No. No one is asking you to care, but its nice to show respect. Also, it wasn't just "upper class elitists" as you stated. What about the various firefighters and law officers that gave their lives trying to save them? I could understand if you weren't from the US, so you wouldn't exactly care. You can just ignore it you know, no one is obligated to click on a topic with the words "9.11" in the title.
>Do you see 2000+ people murdered every day?
Yeah. And a lot more.
I already stated that it's sad about the firefighters; good people deserve to live.
I dont know, maybe because it was the harbinger of ten years of fighting, or how it changed the way wars were carried out, or how about the 300 firemen who died. Maybe it was because even though past events like Pearl Harbor, and the sinking of the Lustiana, this was almost entirely composed of civilian casualties.
And yes, thousands of people die per day, OP. Many of them from hunger, but that is a resource management, and a local government problem, not a devastating attack.
Of course OP might say that this was all a hoax anyway, to allow U.S imperialism, because that never happened in England... Oh wai-
Pearl Harbor? Hiroshima and Nagasaki, anyone? No?
Most of those who die every day die because of that the WTC stood for: Capitalism.
I never said it was a hoax (even through some details are a little fishy).
Here's a thought, why don't you get over it?
Who cares what others write in threads? It's not like you're forced to read them. Choose to ignore them, and poof. One of the largest terrorist acts of the century can disappear from your mind forever. Just don't write this heavily ****-loaded post about how people only care about 9/11, and no other terrible act in the world. Delete that one utterly false belief from your mind. And especially, GET OVER IT.
Edit: Also, if you care so much about world hunger, poverty, and dehydration, then get up off your lazy *** and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Don't go telling us what to be sad about.
I am totally sick of these damn 9/11 threads, I just want to ...
RRRRGH.
It bothers me because I use the front page to look up new and interesting threads, but with it's half flooded with 9/11, that's kinda hard.
And FYI, I AM going to do something about it, but I'm a realist; I know there's only so must a 17 year old can do, so I am getting an education and a job, then I stand a chance to actually do something meaningful.
That is the most contradictory sentence I have seen in my entire life. Do you think before you write?
Edit:

As a realist, you should realize that at any age, you are able to do something?
I'm 15. At my age, it's possible for me to do something about, say, global warming. I could do the same at the age of 12, or even 10. It's just whether or not you choose to do something.
Also, in the past week, I've only seen 5 9/11 thread. Q.E.D.
>Implying "highly reputable" means a "good" reputation...
You're dragging this off topic but yes, it does. That isn't an implication, it is a fact. The definition of reputable is "Having a good reputation." Perhaps you were thinking it was an umbrella term for any kind of reputation good and bad? "Disreputable" would be the alternative in this case.
How to keep this on topic...
Well I guess I might as well get serious for a moment. I agree that people should "get over" 9/11. Bad **** happens, learn from it and move on. Sure, grieving is healthy and an important part of the "letting go" process. But anyone who hasn't been able to let go of something that happened 10 years ago should seek professional help. It isn't healthy to cling to your problems like that.
That's why I made the 11/9 parody informational thread. I really do think the fact that we (America) almost caused a nuclear war on that day is far worse than what terrorists did on 9/11. Yes, the argument could be made that on 11/9 no one died. But we came damned close to destroying far more than the WTC. And what have we learned from it? Virtually nothing.
Pearl Harbor? Hiroshima and Nagasaki, anyone? No?
Most of those who die every day die because of that the WTC stood for: Capitalism
Pearl Harbor was an attack on a military installation by another world government, not nationless terrorists with only loose connections to countries, fighting against a nation is far different from fighting against an amorphous blob of hate.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki were demonstrations to the Japanese that brought a swift end to the war, and let's not forget the thousands who were butchered in Nanking at the hands of the Japanese. Or how many Japanese civilians commited suicide on Okinawa, because they were so indoctrinated by thier own government. If we had set foot in mainland Japan, the amount of civilian suicides and Banzai attacks would be in the hundreds of thousands.
And what do you suggest, that we give up capitalism?
InternetAnarchist#100milliondetected
You "hatedespisedo not like are annoyed" by all Americans because of what ballerdols said said on a Minecraft forum? I do hope you realize how stupid and immature that is. And god forbid some think the place they live is the best. That's like being upset with someone who says they have the greatest dad in the world.
No,it's not because of what he said on mc forums but rather because 90% of americans are like that and no i do not think it's bad to think that your country is the greatest in the world.

The casualties didn't affect the world, the fact that it was the world trade center, hence WTC did,and he was implying that the casualties affected the world for some reason
They have affected the world. Have you not noticed the war on terrorism that has lasted about 10 years?
Well, 9/11 was a major cause, in case you didn't know.

I find this thread quite amusing. It's obviously getting no where, just mindless babbling.
Wait, there's another way of remembering or not remembering 9/11?
Keeping it to ourselves, you say? Not posting on a forum where there's bound to be people who disagree with you? Why didn't I think of that? /majorsarcasm

They affected the countries involved, that's it.
And if you think that you can invade a country to kill one guy and then call it a day and finish the damn war....you're wrong YOU HAVE NO ****ING IDEA WHAT YOU DID BY THAT WAR,YOU JUST MIXED THE **** IT'S GONNA GET SMELLY NOW AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT IT MEANS TO AFFECT THE WORLD
Carefully explain how America, Britain, and other major countries have "MIXED THE **** IT'S GONNA GET SMELLY" with the war.

Is 9/11 a conspiracy to cover up 11/9? Possibly... let's Google it.
