Powers are for the weak. I have no powers. I mean - unless you count the power to blow minds with my weapons-grade philosophical insights. I'm a thought-o-coaster, I'm the conundrummer in a band called Life Puzzler.
I posted this about 5 minuets ago, so now I am posting it again.
You have to listen to it all.
I know you posted it 5 minutes ago... that post was the inspiration for this thread :sad.gif:

Monty Python has -NEVER- made me laugh. Might be I have a different sense of humour (Oh, Wait, I forgot, there is no such thing. :dry.gif:) or it's just not funny. At all.
Have you seen Life of Brian? For me that is the Python's highlight. Every scene and every line of dialogue is pure brilliance.
Don't recommend that one. Are you kidding me? The Life of Brian is by far the worst thing Monty Python has done. It is mediocre at best. The Meaning of Life is far better.

Madness!! :wink.gif:
Life of Brian is by far their best film in my opinion. Meaning of Life is awesome but nowhere near as clever and didn't show of their skill as writers as well as the previous two films did.
I've never met two people with the same opinion of Monty Python. I've met a few people that can't stand Flying Circus yet love the films. I can see that. It was very hit and miss at times.
I guess any fan can cobble together a montage of their favourite clips.
I remember this one part in holy grail where one of them (forgot which one.) was running at a castle and the guards were just standing there and when he finally got to the castle he killed one of the guards and the other just went "Hey."

Yeah same.
Monty Python was never funny to me. The only thing I ever thought was semi entertaining was the Black Knight scene in the Holy Grail, and that was years ago.
But most of the humor is just weird noises or movements it seems.
This is your chance to post what you think are the best scenes and turn me into a normal person.

Better get that checked. Sounds like you have a broken funny bone. I'm a doctor.
I'll have my secretary send you a bill for this consultation.

There is no hope if you don't laugh.
It's also more disturbing than your avatar :/

It's called slapstick. But no, they don't just do slapstick. A good bit of it is intelligent.
And a spin on "troubled youth":
