Well, then maybe you should be a farmer, and work, and get money, nobody gets into their favorite profession the first time, even if they are 'adults.'
And why the **** does college matter!? Honestly, college is the stupidest thing I have ever ****ing heard of, I used to have respect for them, a degree used to mean something, but honestly, every ****ing idiot child and there younger brother goes to college and gets a law degree.
You have to WORK for things, and I was never saying they should be forced into ONLY learning about there profession, I was ASKING (vaguely) why the **** do I need to have algebra two to pound nails, or work in retail?
There are so many things wrong with this argument...
So you are angry that more people are "succeeding" and receiving degrees? What. Just because more people are in college now doesn't mean it isn't any more invalid.
And at 14, I'd do everything in my power to have skipped Algebra. Even making a rash descision about my future just to get out of doing it.
If saying you wanted to be a retail worker to get out of Algebra, every 14 year old would want to be a retail worker.

Succeeding? A degree may mean something in your world, but it doesn't mean anything to me, it just says he wasted four years of his life. You are one of those people that yell at others that don't agree with you, aren't you?
Also, I wasn't saying kids should get out of something by picking a career, I was saying, that, WHY DO WE NEED TO KNOW ALGEBRA? I mean, if SOMEONE is going to be a retail worker, why does he need to know algebra? Why do we need to know all of this useless **** we won't need unless we go become scientists?
I'm not saying we should ditch them, kids should know math and science, but, you don't need algebra, or geometry or trigonometry to pound ****ing nails.

It's a damn shame that his world is also reality.

Actually you do need algebra and geometry skills in order to work construction.

That's why I put "succeeding" in quotes, because getting a degree in Law is generally viewed as success to most people. And, lol, yelling? No. How'd you make that correlation?
And, at the age most learn Algebra, they DO. NOT. KNOW. what their future plans will be. They don't know if they want to be a retail worker or a scientist. Stop acting like you speak for the majority, when in reality you're only speaking for every child who doesn't want to do their Geometry homework.
Seriously. Earlier you were basically saying "to bad" if someone wasted 4 years of their life learning to be a farmer. Well guess what, "to bad" if you wasted a year learning something you prolly' won't utilize in your career of "pounding nails," (I hope you aren't talking about construction, by the way. They utilize plenty of "useless" math in that field.)

People who aren't miserable complaining about how bad their lives are because of some stupid reason (like they lost their cell phone).
Washington DC. Seriously. When will these pricks get off their asses, stop playing chicken, and actually do something to help the country?
Praising stupid people. I don't care what you say, Paris Hilton deserves to be a crack ***** dying of AIDS in some Las Vegas brothel.
The concept of "everyone's a winner". It's sickening. I remember playing little league when I was a kid. Everyone got a trophy. Trophies are supposed to mean something. Interestingly enough, they mean jack **** when your team came in last. (Seriously-a trophy for no victories?)
Rap music.
White suburban kids (or any suburban kids-but mostly it's white ones) who act like they're from the ghetto. ProTip: If you live right next to a man-made lake surrounded by trees, and go to school in an absolutely beautiful castle on a hill; and go home to a three-story house where your laptop, xBox 360, and 50'' screen TV with 999 channels are waiting for you, You're not ghetto.
People who wear their pants around their ankles. Seriously. I don't need to see your ugly boxers. People have invented belts for a reason.
When I go to the store to buy a new pair of bluejeans to replace some really worn out ones, and I see this pre-torn ****, and stuff that looks like it's been sand-blasted. I know someone's responsible.

I hate sagging, it's retarded and makes you waddle like a ****ing penguin.
As for buying pants with holes.. I'm ok with this.

Um, how old are you? I've never heard of them doing that beyond single digit age groups.
Any norm or standard which prevents people from exploring and experimenting and becoming tolerent and interesting and awesome. Especially when it comes to music and books, which are the most important things to me. Apparently it's more important to cultivate an image than a mind, so in their world, it's more important to be a potter fanboy (because it's like, our childhood and so important) than actually reading around (because books are hard, man), and it's important to listen to all the "greatest hits" because "everybody knows them" than to explore a whole world of music.
:sad.gif: But I like the Harry Potter Books, and I also like Isaac Asmiov's books.
Pop music. Shitty stuff. I prefer techno, It's 10 times better than pop, and there's no "BANGIN CHICKS IN DEH CLUBZZZZ" lyrics that people listen to these days.

You know, I'm no find of Pop Culture/Music, but this is one good song:
Gonna be honest and say I can't stand potter anymore for various reasons. Asimov is cool though, pretty much one of the golden age greats in terms of sci fi.
I don't care if everyone and their kitten likes Harry Potter, that doesn't stop it from being a really well written and interesting book.
On another note.... I especially liked Asimov's Robot Series, as it gave me a different kind of insight into AI and the like.
I kinda hate how some people keep using vulgarities unnecessarily in their speech, I mean come on.. I can't really have a proper conversation with the people around me with someone swearing like a sailor in every sentence.

Why? I don't get why everyone gets so pissed at profanity. It's just a ****ing word to express more distress than saying, "silly word". Grow up, and learn to talk to people that use it.

I just find it annoying, not that I get pissed or angry at people for using it. I only find vulgarities necessary (>.>) when someone really angers you and so on. I hope I didn't anger you in anyway! :/

Hey now, there's plenty of good rap music.
Also to add to your "white suburban kids" note, I hate movies and shows about middle class, white girl problems. You know what I'm talking about ABC.
He is probably talking about mainstream rap music.
