For once I can agree with blaster's post.
Capitalism is flawed, yes.
Communism seems perfect. In fact, it's so perfect it will never succeed. As long as humankind exists, there will always be the wealthy and powerful above the weak and poor.
1. Lazzies-faire. The government at this point basically does not exist outside of police and fire department, road maintenance and the most basic functions. Success is supposedly based on their skills in various professional jobs, economics, or anything else that can benefit society.
2. Free Market Capitalism. Companies have huge freedom to do whatever they wish but the government is still present.
3. Restricted trade. Companies cannot do whatever they want. Production of certain goods is restricted or banned. Polluting industries are heavily taxed. Many areas, particularly transportation, health and mail may be nationalized, eliminating most competition in those sectors.
Oh worshiper of Inglip, I believe you affect all levels of Capitalism.

Democrasy and communism are "cousins", so to speak. The difference is that one tols you, |N YO FAC3, that owns your a$s.
Why would I think that capitalism equals democrasy (SIC)? One is economic and one is political.
Personally, I don't see how anything other than a capitalist or, more ideally in my opinion, a capitalist/socialist mix, would work for the countries right now.
I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
Oh my god. They're... they're BREEDING US FOR WAR. With our allegiance to America pounded into our heads so early on in life, we'll be willing to die for our country no matter what! CURSE YOU CAPITALISM! CURSE YOUUUU!
Eh, in all seriousness, we need the government to handle all that dreadful paperwork.

4. IT'S OVER!
Pure capitalism is a horrible idea. Its natural endpoint is with monopolies and colluding oligopolies. The government does need to regulate. Should government subsidize? In certain situations, yes. Should government have direct control over industry? No, I see no reason why.
capitalism not a bad thing.
at all.
in any way.
ever.
its just that humans are involved.
put 2 humans together, and if they happen to find time in between arguing. one will stand on the shoulders of the other and crap on the others face.
that is the case.
that will always be the case.

I am a Brony - grown up fan of My Little Pony. If your ok with this, im ok with you. If your Not ok with this, im still ok with you.
In fact, if you dont like Bronies or the show, im happy to discuss it with you.
Actually that is capitalism, mostly a hierarchical concept of it and its relation to hierarchical rule. I'll explain it:
At the bottom of the pyramid you see workers; starving and laboring in order to produce for the higher up.
Above that level, you see the more wealthy and more joyous petit-bourgeoisie and bourgeoisie alike who eat "for" the workers who cannot even provide enough sustenance for themselves.
Above that we find the military, whom are ever so eager to quell rights, break strikes, and stop revolutions. Who else is there to ensure property security?
Above that we find the religious clergymen, priests, monks, etc. who "fool" the workers into willful submission to said hierarchy and petty existence. These clergymen claim that they will be rewarded in the afterlife and fill them with falsities to such a degree that these workers would lose any workers' mentality or consciousness.
Above that we find the rulers, the government, the state, etc. Who else is there to ensure property security, the existence and ensurance of property, and the suppression of workers.
Above all of these, we find the most (indirect) supreme ruler of all classes, levels, and intentions: profit.
So yes, it describes it pretty well actually.
Not to mention there appears to be a massive flaw with communism that will immedietly cause it to loop back to capitalism.
Workers decide what happens with the things they produce in the factories individualy? Its going to be a horrible mess to transport 1 crate of nic-nacs half way across the world, a logistic mess.
They sell their crates to 1 guy in the factory that handles the logistics of the crates. Since he can send 50 at a time, he makes a good profit, more than the other workers. He uses this to reinvest in the factory so that 60 crates are made a week instead of 50. He gains more profit.
Oh ****, capitalism just happened.
Wow. Firstly you speak of communism as if there would be currency, without having a gift economy (or arguably labor notes) implemented instead. Secondly, there is no "middle-man", that is a complete fallacy. The workers would not be "selling" their products to a middle-man who then makes a profit by selling it for more, for this would obviously be a more severe form of capitalist profiteering. The workers would themselves transport these goods if locally or assigned to a shipment committee who would do so if exporting abroad. Thirdly, there's no "entrepreneurs" in the first place for investment and growth out of that. Growth would be created as a direct result of need and effectiveness as opposed to straining more profits and mongering more influence.
Do look over and read on how a gift economy works before propping strawmen which do not exist.
Please, Communism and Socialism are pipe dreams. Isn't it a wonder at how all the communist nations are doing poorly except one.
Communist nations? Name one.
And please explain to me how communism is a pipe dream, I'm very interested if you are able to do so without resorting to the fallible previously addressed (many times over that is) arguments of "human nature" and "eventually a leader will rise".
Anyway, a more fitting humorous cartoon that describes Capitalism pretty well:
To be honest, most communism doesn't work in theory, either. It's easy to see from analysis why it has to become so oppressive in order to work, and why hard-workers will prefer capitalism.

Query: Why?
Capitalism. Freedom is good. Some government to keep order though.

Why? Because religion breeds hate? Fogs logic? Starts wars? Kills people? Brainwashes legions? What good has come from religion?
Don't bother with him now, I'm pretty sure he's looking for a fight because he said the same thing in an expanded post a couple of posts earlier.
To be honest, most communism doesn't work in theory, either. It's easy to see from analysis why it has to become so oppressive in order to work, and why hard-workers will prefer capitalism.
Even though I will say that capitalism is the only fundamentally sound economic model for modern times.
