That doesn't mean it is right or should be accepted.
Nor does that make it wrong. And if people don't accept my opinion, why do I have to accept bad spelling by others?

When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. I don't want your damn lemons! I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!

simple answer: children are getting dumber by watching spongebob, fanboy and chum chum and problem solvers
I used to watch Spongebob. It was dumb. Too dumb. Seriously.
P/S: What did they do? Corrupting children's mind with anything. Jellyfish, gay sponge and starfish. Pretty much everything is screwed when you watch Spongebob.
I blame it on the dedication that students have to their work.
some just don't even try.
But anyways, i'm only 12, and i can spell flawlessly. Which makes me happy to know i'm at least trying.
Once, i sneaked a peek at one of the tests at my school. Because the teacher accidentally turned on the interactive whiteboard... and guess who got the only A? Me.
That doesn't mean it is right or should be accepted.
Right or wrong is purely subjective. If someone sees it as right to judge someone based on whether or not they choose to correctly spell and utilize the grammar use of their own language, that's their choice.

The dedication, I see is a problem in all of my classes (8th grade). Kids are always on their phones, and just generally messing around, not giving a care in the world for the grades they get.
As for the sneaking a peak, well, we call that cheating.
Nope. We can choose how we judge people. If we want to judge based on whether or not they choose to correctly spell the language they talk in or not, that's our choice.
Of course it is. Everybody has preconceptions about people based on trivial things such as grammar, it's natural. However, those preconceptions are not necessarily always correct.

What's correct or not is, again subjective. Especially on something like morals, or how we view people.
For some people, their argument is probably: If people can understand me on the internet when I am using shortcuts/improper spelling, then it's ok.
I mean, u kno wut i did heer.
Although, for me, bad spelling is annoying as cursing. Means people are too lazy to do it correctly (spelling) or too dumb to find the right word (cursing.)
MC in-game is ok to misspell words, but the Forums should not be full of trolls who use leet text. But hopefully our society will improve and actually learn to spell because it gets really bad. It's vs. Its, There vs. their.

I'm not speaking about what is "right" and "wrong" in the context of morals. You may assume, based on someone's grammar, that he lives in the ghetto, is uneducated, and is a delinquent. However, what if he lives in a rich family, goes to a private school, and has never committed a single crime? Then your assumptions are wrong. I don't think there's much more to it.
I honestly cannot stand people who can't type for ****.
"hai dere sir i b admin on jur sever plz?"
That is just an utter annoyance to me.. But yes, when I ask them why, they're always saying: "we b 2 lazy dude."
How sad... It's amazing how in-exquisite this world has become. Grammar and spelling is probably the easiest thing to perfect, however under such circumstances, people just don't care.
Right or wrong is not subjective, it is objective. Judging people is based on morals, and morals are based on evil. It's wrong to murder, is it not? Why can we not determine what is right or wrong in the case of spelling? Does that not apply to truth? What I am trying to get at is this: Determination of what is right or wrong is the way to finding out what is true in this world. We can do the same to spelling.
It's an opinion whether something is evil or not. Just because you believe one thing (morally or judgmentally) does not mean every does, or even needs to, see it the same way you do.

Alright, now we're straying from the discussion. You believe morals are subjective, Spencer believes morals are objective, and I'm a moral nihilist, so let's put that aside and discuss how preconceptions based solely on grammar are not always correct (and not in the context of morals, either). :wink.gif:

FFS, I am obviously wonderful.

I'm going into 8th, and I get asked how to spell words like that all the time.
I don't mean to be rude, but...
Are you ageist?

Couldn't have said it better.
