Yeah, I was trying to convince people of my opinions, but I've suddenly lost all interest. I'm still following what I believe to the letter, and I know pretty much everyone who has posted on this forum thinks I'm some Catholic brainwashed zombie (I actually didn't know the current pope. Still thought it was Pope John Paul II :tongue.gif: ).
All I can say is just do whatever you feel is right, but my opinion comes from living a life were sex was my main goal, then changing to a life where purity is my main goal. I think I know both sides of the story, but every story is different and I am just in Highschool.
Final remark, the journals you said you found about Chastity causing depression and crap like that I would like to read to see if I can disprove it or if I have made a mistake. Eitherway, please post the links.

Sex is the purest way, you silly highschool hillbilly!
The reason I find that statment (and many others) stupid is that you provide no evidence to why. I've constantly posted links to where I got my information from.
FYI: Every source is biased. You can't find one that isn't for this topic
Chastity doesn't cause depression unless you're addicted to sex.
Then again, if you're depressed, you might use the intense release of hormones as a way to 'medicate' yourself. But that doesn't mean chastity causes depression; it just means depressed people can be sex addicts.
Religion infects the mind with ignorance. That's why some religions are against something that is very common. Strange...
Funny, and yet the origin of the common idea among people these days of 'Enlightenment' has its origin in religion. IRONIC
Virginity is a difficult path which few are able to succeed at. Exercising self control over both your body and mind may be uncommon, but that does not make it ungood.
If you are a Battletech/Mechwarrior geek you may enjoy my Timberwolf/MADCAT model (the source of my avatar) (warning: image-heavy link target) I will often edit my posts after I have posted them in an attempt to improve their clarity (I value a few high quality posts over several low quality ones; the more lengthy the post, the more time it requires to edit) so you might want to wait for a while if this post is recent and refresh to see if anything has changed before replying to it.
The funny thing is that I don't think he is.

You heard that, green and red.

Amen. Provided, of course, that all involved parties give informed consent.
